I'll have drag2 today so I'll be able to donate more. Even with just giving archers4 I think I've been able to maintain a positive donation ratio with like 1000 requested.

The issue isn't family and friends, it's the randoms. They screw up war requests, then attack an opponent 2 TH levels below them, leaving us scrambling to makeup for the hole they leave in the board.

Maybe I have the wrong end of the stick here. I think it really does come down to is this clan in it for the lulz or is there some sort of forward motion here. There's no point talking about booting people if taking down wars isn't a big deal. We have players in this clan with very powerful resources and we are not benefiting from this. I'm not even talking about donations in this instance!

I have my own personal reasons for staying. I also have reasons for leaving. I think telling a 9 year old how to respect others may not be the most efficient use of energy. Heck, even the other child in the group was adult enough to try to put him in his place but he wasn't having any of it. Yes, I do play the game for entertainment. No, I do not believe that involves having a 9 year old telling you to shut up. Especially when you just want to relax with a game after work etc.

Fair enough then. If it's a friends and family clan, that's all good. I was in one myself before. But don't advertise it and open up to randoms if that's the case.

2bad, if there's chat issues we need to know about them. We've moved past the Taliban jokes and I personally haven't seen anything out of bounds. However I don't scroll back in chat if I've been away, so it's possible I miss something. Feel free to PM Bob if you don't want to mention it here.

As for the clan, as it stands there are about 17 2p2ers plus their family and friends and a handful of randoms. I have no interest in booting someone from 2p2 or their family/friend because they don't take the game as serious as some. After all it's just a game. So, when I mentioned the boot meeting, it was partially " tongue in cheek" however we need to be selective with the randoms from global and we will continue to have a short leash with them.

I thought the boot meeting was real, my bad.

What do you suggest for some one like me who is #6 but is always recommended well below my defensive rating? War starts and I am instantly offensively recommended to attack their #16.

I hope this sheds light on why I for one may be attacking lower in some wars....the war map shows your overall ranking defensively in your clan. Your offense is not taken into account. With my 5 builders working near nonstop vs 1 research at a time, my defense has surpassed my attacking ability. Thus my lower recommendations.

This leads me to 3 attack options:

1. I attack near my level and brick or pray for 1 or 2 stars which hurts us overall and I could be reprimanded for not gtting enough stars.

2. Attack where I am recommended but get criticized for attacking too low.

3. (What I used to do most times) Wait till near end of war to use attacks so I can see what is most needed, cleanup low or gamble high. However I have seen complaints of people bumhunting war, and in a summary review of my war attacks it will look like I do 1 or 2.

I want to best for the team obviously so I have always done attack option 3 primarily as its most useful and versatile given my position. Any other advice will be appreciated. Thanks guys

As long as you're attacking the same TH level, it's fine. My post was more aimed at the randoms from global who are TH7's, then insta attack th5s and th6s when war starts.
