Out of curiosity has farming been better or worse for you guys post update?

Better. Not seeing empty TH7 or even lower means a lot less nexting till I find a base I think is good enough to attack.

Yeah I have found overall loot to be better as well as less next's. I think the update would of screwed all the rushed 9's and 10's though with garbage troops.

Did they change something to effect farming? From my experience it has been the same post-update

You're supposed to get town halls closer to your own level is what my understanding was. I'm up in Masters so that was kinda the case already for me, but I suppose if you're TH10 hanging in Gold II maybe you'll get to skip all those TH6/Th7 that would pop up

TH penalty made it so that attacking TH7/8 is not a viable option.

If anything, this update makes farming a lot easier for rushed TH's down at lower league.

What if they're so rushed they still have crap troops/camps and can't even hit th9s or th10s. That would suck for them.

50% of something is better than 100% of nothing.

Farming is all about barching, and what this update did is making it easier to barch at lower league.

Think about it, what kind of towns are in silver at TH9?

In fact, it made it so good that I am taking my defenseless account to TH10 because of the new econ boost.

Couldn't do it before because I can't afford to lose TH8 as raiding option.

Gonna experiment with my rushed th10 I had mostly given up on

I have no idea what kind of th9s are in silver as I haven't been in silver in like a year. Judging by your happiness, I'm guessing theres plenty of super rushed th9s you can easily barch.

You should tell that to the few rushed th9/10s I see in master and crystal as they have gotta be struggling.

No, not rushed TH9's.

Not sure if you are aware of the goal when it comes to barching - idea is to find abandoned/neglected towns with fully upgraded mines and collectors.

So if a town is rushed, chances are those two things are not maxed.

They didn't do anything incorrectly, because before the update, the only way for rushed TH9/10 to survive is to be in the high leagues that weed out low TH level towns and do the same thing they could do now in low leagues.

I would probably guess that over 50% of players actively playing in CoC still think that mines/collectors are the only option to get resources and that attacking in multiplayer mode is for trophies and for sake of attacking.

And when they hit TH9/TH10, they begin to log in less and less because they just don't have any reason to log on, except for maybe clan wars.

So what ends up happening is that they slowly drop down in trophies down to lower leagues...ka-ching!

I see a lot of rushed town halls with maxed collectors/mines. Probably because they struggle building up resources so the only thing they can afford are cheap upgrades such as collectors/mines.

Look at all the try hard farmers, their collectors are so far behind because they know they can get way more loot from raiding and are able to constantly keep their builders busy with offensive and defensive upgrades.

Sounds logical - I would probably agree with that.

Downside is that I might actually have to raid those accounts - I have only been using them for war.

Noob question:

When bringing a kill squad to take out the enemy archer queen, at what point will my king target the queen? Is it as soon as another troop gets shot by the queen? Or does the king have to get shot by the queen himself before targeting her? Thanks!

There's a range.

In other words, if your barbs are getting shot by the queen and your king is within the range of the queen, he would respond.

Do the troops respond differently? I know for fact that troops will respond to enemy CC if nearby units are hit.

The wifi in the hospital isn't strong enough for coc... My sister in law having this baby is mighty inconvenient for my gaming

They changed how troops respond to other troops being attacked in the last patch so right now nobody knows. Especially since this is something supercell has messed up before.

The clan I'm in just won a war in epic fashion.

One hour left, I 3 star a guy to get us 2 more stars. Down 2 stars with about 10 mins left, a clanmate cleans up a base to get 1 more star, down 1 now. I go in after another base and 3 star him for 2 more stars. We have the lead by 1. Their last attack is on the guy that just got us 1 more star. Mass dragons fail at like 88% and no new stars.

Know what you mean.. But there's always going to be at least 1/100 that isn't ready.. Plus it would make getting the start times right impossible
