At town hall level 5 (almost ready to start building 6), will I be encountering a situation(s) where I make people mad if I donate?

Like, someone typed "shoe bombs" in their donation request. I assume I should not donate to any requests that mention a specific thing by name, if I do not have that thing. I don't have "shoe bombs", and don't even know what they are.

Will there be any people in the clan who will actually want level 2 archers or giants or whatever? Am I gong to get into a situation where my donation ratio looks like crap, because no one wants my crap?

This is what I don't understand. Why refer to shoe bombs then kick someone out for allegedly being in the taliban? I know this is a game but I really expected more from a clan that I would have put money on being more intelligent than average..

At least come on back at some point today and attack bases 3 and 9 to get yourself a nice war bonus. Sorry things didn't work out with the clan. If you read the thread there are a few other decent clans with 2p2ers like controlledchaos and dongcentral.

I was actually thinking of coming back just to score some loot then leave. If it's ok with you guys then I'll do that... :-/

I appreciate the gesture. My days of staying up all night to argue with people on the Internet are long behind me. A LOT less hassle to just walk away imo. I did try staying for a few minutes but the situation just didn't sit right with me and I thought the chances of me feeling better later was close to zero. I know everyone doesn't share the same point of view but I'm willing to bet that if I look long and hard enough, I may find a clan that shares mine...

serious business, yo. Personally, I'm pretty pleased that this came up, and was dealt with. Certainly been an abscence of bad words or hate chat recently. Which is good considering those in our clan that have less than ten years under their belt.

Can I have cliffs of what happened

You know those guys w Arabic names? They join, say something in Arabic, request something, and sometimes leave real quick too? One of the Co-Leaders took to booting anyone that typed in Arabic, and making tame, but in bad taste jokes - referring to those w Arabic names as "Shoe Bombers." As some of us were beginning to question the appropriateness of these jokes, a contributing member who spoke both reasonable English, and occasionally typed in Arabic (w the probable Muslim name of Sara), was summarily booted without explanation. 2bad4u took particular exception to this and quit the clan 3 times, but rejoined only twice. Meanwhile, the bad jokes have ceased, and our Muslim membership has receded into the shadows.

Super cliffs - Racism is bad

Cliffs are close but not entirely accurate.

- Arabic player joins(identifies herself as Sara), appears to be able to speak English so is allowed to stay.
- Elder Brock, boots her and makes a couple derogatory remarks, then member Joe proceeds to make a joke regarding shoe bombs.
- I invite sara back, she returns.
- fast forward 15 hours, Brock boots sara again and suggests we ban any player who's name may be a Taliban war symbol. 2bad asks why we booted her, I make reference to the Taliban and shoe bombs as the possible reason why Brock booted her, not that I thought she was either.
- 2bad decides the fact that Brock may have a problem with anyone from the Middle East is to much for him to stomach, so he leaves.

To be honest I'm 37 going on 15, so I found the shoe bomb joke funny. However, I had no problem and would welcome sara or any player regardless of race or religion. As long as they can communicate in English.
