Well i did receive 2 pm's after posting so obviously I'm not alone in my sentiment. Also we have 115 wins and have a little more strategy than 'draintard' every base.

I just had another look at degens clan. A matchup looks unlikely as we usually war with 35 and the match itself would be pretty unfair to you guys.

My favorite is posts like these.

Let's be honest, Coc is a fun, mobile game. But to suggest there's some super, top secret, Korean gamer style strategy is just laughable. The game is relatively shallow and those that $$ the hardest, will have the most success. We all know the basic attack and defensive strats.

So cool man, you guys figured out how to upgrade your golems and employ and competent lava hound attack....sweet.

War pigz- 30 something members. I disagree that people that sink the most money into the game are the most successful. Sure they have the best troops possible but deploying them correctly is a whole other matter.

In my old farming clan there was some guy that had never bought gems and had maxed everything including heroes. Obviously he had been playing a long time and probably had no social life but im sure he was a much better attacker than the guys on the leaderboard that basically payed their way to the top.

The people at the top of the leaderboard are the best attackers. You can't get 4K+ trophies if you don't know what you're doing, no matter how many gems you have.

But sure, there are people who spend plenty of money who don't have much of a grasp on how to attack really well.

Trying to compare war stars is meaningless as most of the top players rarely war and when they do they are probably taking on max th10s

comparing battles is kind of stupid as well since it's easy to gain a ton of wins by barching in lower leagues whereas when you're in champions you are primarily trying to 1 star bases with very long to train expensive army comps. I mean this is just a guess, I could be wrong. But I suspect most of your battles won weren't against max th10s who are in champs?

That's basically what the 4k players do. Insta build their 3 hour armies so they can do several attacks in a session without losing trophies from being attacked.

Indeed. The bonus gems that the top 3 clans win don't even cover what they spend to get there...
