It reads like jump isn't so much going to direct troops explicitly as it just will cause a recalculation of the best target. So before, troops that gained the ability to jump would not take full advantage of the newly available pathing but they should now.

Prior to the update I got raped one Clan War by a 6* Giant and Jump attack... I'd be surprised if that's not a lot better now.

Is it better to hold off on upgrading your Town Hall to increase the loot you get from raiding other players? Strategically speaking, should one hold off on that and instead make sure other parts of their base such as towers, cannons, walls etc are fully upgraded?

So can someone explain the clan system to me? I think I meet the requirements for poker degens (1200ish trophies, TH6, level 43, 4 builders) but am not sure I should join a clan. Right now I'm basically just raiding people to get resources to upgrade the more expensive stuff like walls and barracks/firepits. Finishing up all my defense upgrades right now with I think one mortar being the last thing needed.

im in a clan but I can't do much damage to most other clans because none of my stuff is level 4+ yet.

I'm usually low enough trophy wise that I don't get into the clan wars which is probably a good thing atm

So you don't have to war? Like I can be in the clan and help with troops donations or whatever but still do my own things until I'm able to actually help?

No, war matchups are in multiples of five, if you are above that multiple in your clan, then you are in the war.

Depends what you want out of being in a clan, mine (status12) is a good laugh mostly, and we war fairly often. Only consideration for not being kicked out of clan is use both attacks in war (gives you best chance of winning wars, if all attack) if you are a good donater, so much the better.
