if your clan lost most clan wars, what would you do with your attacks? i'm th8 and we lose some close, some by a lot, win maybe 20%. i'm #3 in our clan of 15, and i can't 3 star most bases without doing mass drags, gowipe, or hogs, but i lose so many resources doing that when we end up losing anyway, but when we lose by a couple stars i feel guilty if i didn't max out. would you just say screw it, and do what you can with giants or something?

Great just got hit for half my available loot and now because he couldn't even get 40% I'm being attacked again as we speak. cant log in because of it


EDIT: second guy two stared me. Atleast I managed to save most of my loot, he went mass archer+heros so my mortars did work, he would have been crushed if the mortar on the side he attacked wasn't upgrading.

I've seen a huge difference in the amount of loot i lose since moving my th to an empty corner.

I never get attacked for loot. Ive watched people th snipe me while having 300k each available and they don't even try

Agreed. Also, put stupid decorations around your TH so the snipers know that it doesn't have traps/teslas around it. Every once in a while a maxed th10 will blast you base, but this stuff helps.

I have also found that if I don't offer mass amounts of all 3 resources, I get less max attacks. ie, if I am going for an elix upgrade, dump gold into walls or something until I can get the elix out of my base. Then do gold upgrade etc.

If I lose all three, I get super tilted

I have 2 accounts, one has a TH lvl 10 and the other is lvl 7. When I attempt to attack (non-clan war) w/ the acct w/ the lvl 10 TH the bases I am matched w/ tend to have less loot than when I try to attack w/ the account w/ the TH of 7. Is this because my TH10 acct has fewer trophies than it is expected to have? My sample size is a pretty good size and I can comfortably say that attacking w/ TH7 acct has a higher avg loot per base (than attacks w/ TH10 acct) and the % of bases I see w/ the TH7 account with more than 100k of elixor and gold is higher than that of the TH10 acct.

TH10 has 2148 trophies and is level 94
TH7 has 1299 trophies and is level 55

I often put my THs in the corner when I have a lot of loot but I never thought about putting the decorations around it. Great idea.

The higher TH you have the lower the loot % you can gain

TH10 will get loot penalty when raiding lower bases. think it is 10% if you raid down one TH and 50% if lower?!?! will try to confirm, but that is off the top of my head. Trophies have no effect.

Loot penalties affect all TH when attacking down. Not sure about if you get bonus when attacking up? will try to find those #s as well

I knew or at least heard of the rule that attacking down a TH level will result in a lower % loot available. So does this mean that my TH10 is getting matched with a lot of ppl w/ lower TH levels or how is this explained that I get ****ty matches? It doesn't seem logical that the higher the level the lower the amount of loot available.
