To expand on the concept of unlocking weapons they're adding COD Points.


You'll earn money (COD Points) as you play.

Contracts are time limited challenges that you purchase with COD Points (CP).
There are three categories -- Mercenaries, Operations, Specialist.


Each is attached to certain play styles and in-game achievements.


Gambling is also coming to Call of Duty.
Wager Match - you ante up and put your COD Points on the line and wager on matches. The top three players split the pot.

Other killstreak rewards: Napalm Strike, Gunship, Mortar Team, the Radio Controlled Car, SAM Turret (it takes down a chopper).
***The Gunship is a helicopter like you saw in some of the trailers.

This is starting to sound really good.

LOL this is awesome!!! Im gonna be a gambling fiend once this comes out.

I predicted this yesterday, brilliant idea. I just hope it can't be taken advantage of by people working together, losing on purpose and then swapping. Even if you can only bet on yourself to win, if the odds are over 2:1 then people are gonna get a huge advantage by cheating.

I don't see the need for multiple zooms, unless the original zoom is poor on some snipers?

If the flamethrower actually kills people then Ill use it a lot. The shotgun in mw2 is just a joke unless u play hardcore.

Looks sick, but I don't see how they prevent collusion. If it's 6 players with a 3:2:1 payout I'm seeing a lot of people finding a dude they can kill over and over and over and over.

When they said they took the idea of the gun game "straight from the community" they meant they copied it directly from Counter-Strike.

Search and Destroy is essentially Counter Strike on a de_* map, so does that surprise you?

Wow attack dogs are an 11 killstreak. Doesnt seems worth it. Here's a vid showing all the killstreaks.

If dogs are back I may not play this game much. Having to watch for dogs makes the game not fun for me. It may be manageable at 11 if killstreaks do not add to your killstreak total though.
