Wasn't anything specific. When I read it I thought an in-game virtual cash system. I never thought about treyarch being "Bad Company 2" money hungry.

Virtual cash system could be better than the XP system. Rather than needing 400 kills for extended mags on the AA-12, you could forego the other attachments and save up for what you actually want.

It would be good also if you could place a bet with your in-game cash on who will win, like you can in Counter Strike Source on some servers (though only when you're dead).

You will probably have to choose what you want to buy with weapons, certain perks, weapons, killstreaks etc. - it could be quite good. But then Treyarch are doing it, and they're abysmal so it will probably be wank and massively biased in some way or another.

I remember somewhere back in the day that Bad Company 2 said they would offer free maps for VIP members.

Then all they did was had old maps with new game modes of the old game types and charged money for them. I have yet to see the free maps other than the ones that came with the game. I was disappointed with feeling like I was misled by them and even worse that all they are doing is offering the limited game modes on more of the same maps like it's some reward for playing the game through the repetition of the few maps that they started with.

Yeah I'm not too worried about it. I haven't played BC2 in so long. Kind of getting the itch to play again just to screw around, but I'm so absorbed in getting my OMA back on MW2 so I can spawntoob.

I don't play video games nearly as much as I used to back in the first half of the year.

LOL at them releasing BC2 ultimate when pretty much no one plays that game anymore. In the BC2 thread people bitch about no servers and games dont even fill up for it.

I like the current point system, it gives u something to work for.

This whole MP reveal is a press event. There is no live feed. Any type of information about the game will come from twitter or other news sources. I don't think there will be any videos put out tonight. I could be wrong about that, but I think we are getting psyched up over something that we'll have to wait for.

I won't be staying up. All the information will be there tomorrow. haha
