I'd say that making ghost compete with sleight of hand would make the ghost perk balanced in black ops.

any tips for getting pro perks for Flak Jacket (throwback 5 grenades) ninja (backstab 5 enemies) and hacker (kill 25 enemies while using jammer or motion sensor)

which guns/perk setup/map etc. are best to achieve these? those are my last perks I need to get pro level for and then I will have all pro perks and all gold camos

p.s. also ghost shoot down 30 aircraft, any tips on best way to shoot down choppers?

Empty your grenades right at the start of the match.. Play Dom, ldo.. Use jammer..


Use strella ldo

To throwback grenades, play domination and capture objectives, or demolition and plant bombs/hang out next to someone planting. Chuck smoke so noone can see you well enough to shoot and therefore have to rely on explosives.

Ninja, I played free for all and just ran about with a lightweight class, didn't take long to get 5 in. Also use hacker so you can identify people camping in buildings and sneak up behind them.

For hacker pro I played demolition and slapped down a jammer near the bomb site, only took a few games to kill a ton of people in the area especially when one bomb has been detonated.


To shoot down aircraft for ghost pro just shoot down as many spy planes as possible.

As far as maps are concerned the smallish ones are better since you have more chances to encounter enemies more quickly.


That's pretty much what I did, sure there are other just as effective methods though.

ok got the ninja and hacker pro, now I just gotta get flak jacket and ghost.
ghost should be easier than I originally thought since shooting down care packages and sky planes counts when I originally thought it was just helicopters, chopper gunners, and gunships.
I still have 0-5 for throwback enemy grenades. I like the suggestion of using a smoke grenade and capturing objectives/staying near bomb sites in demolition. any more tips would be appreciated like what maps/locations are best for this. I was just playing Firing Range and kept using tactical insertion in that camping spot in the middle of the map above the ladder but everybody kept throwing semtex instead of frag grenades so I didn't get any but that seems like a good spot. Any other suggestions? Thanks

Ya dom firing range crow's nest for throwbacks. Crouching behind the boxes next to loading truck on Nuketown is also excellent. Barrels on C bridge on Jungle is good too, use tac mask pro. Really, just camp somewhere and people will get pissed and start throwing grenades at you. Just make sure you dump your grenade when you spawn so you can spam the grenade button as soon as you see the icon on your screen.

unless i misunderstand you, this would be the worst because people would use ghost + flak jacket and they would pretty much be a juggernaut.

i just realized it's completely possible you meant by moving sleight of hand into the first tier, in which case my mistake.

Ya you make a good point. IM used to the power perks being in the 2nd slot so putting all three of those in the same slot would be good. Steady aim needs to be moved to another slot imo. I cant even remember the rest of the 2nd perk slots other then the BO bling cuz I never used anything else. Just shows you how strong SOH is at least to me.

Scout pro is the nuts for a rushing class with low killstreaks. Fast call ins and fast equipment. Plus once you pick up a second primary its go time. Try it out.

I got rid of this game a while ago. Just couldnt stand playing it anymore.
