Below are a list of rules and formats for the upcoming tournament. We should be getting underway very soon. Be excited, that means you Saucey.

**Format**

* We will start with a round robin on 8/7/11. Each team will play each other once. The game type for the round robin will be a best of 3 domination match. We are using pub scoring rules for this.

* Once the round robin is finished, we will then start the "actual" tournament on 8/14/11. Seeding for the tournament will be determined by how well each team did in the round robin. Note, the #1 and 2 seeds will receive a first round bye. The tournament will be a single elimination format. The game mode will once again be domination and using pub scoring rules. This will also be a best of 3.

* The finals, will be the following week by default. However, if both teams can agree on a time to play before that then that will be allowed. The finals will **NOT** be using pub rules. Instead, the finals will be first team to 3 wins. Teams will be playing CTF/SnD/Dom in no particular order. Those three game modes will be using MLG variant scoring. We will also try to have a ref for this match. There will also be a limited number of spectator spots available if people choose to do so. However, captains will have first dibs on any spectator spot, so please keep that in mind.

* As an added bonus, Aceroth has agreed to do a commentary on the finals finished product. *round of applause*

**RULES**

* This past Sunday, captains got together and voted on a series of things. These are no longer up for debate or discussion.

* No primary weapons have been banned. You can use the Famas.

* There will be no launchers of any type. This includes strellas and crossbows.

* We will be using Killstreaks. However there is a twist to this. Each team can only have **ONE** person on their team with killstreaks on. Killstreaks are limited to Spy Plane, Counter Spy Plane and Napalm. We felt that this would add an extra dimension to the game and make things a little more interesting.

* Flak Jacket will be allowed.

* Ghost will be allowed.

* Killstreaks will not be their normal kill amount. Example: Spy-Plane will not be 3 kills, it will probably be adjusted to something like 5 kills. This is still to be determined, so bare the **** with me.

* Second chance will not be allowed.

Again, the above was voted on by the captains along with Monarco and myself.

**TIP** If you are a captain or have been drafted by someone you have never played with, why not go ahead and add them and get to know eachother? If you're a captain, and someone is up on the draft block that you have never played with, why not add them and get to know their game? I feel like this would help you out in the long run. It would give you (the captain) that much more of an edge while drafting players. Just my humble opinion on the situation.

* Please do not take it personally if you feel you were drafted for a lesser amount then you felt you should be. This is a friendly tournament with 90% of your friends.

Jesus there's gonna be so many smoke grenades flying since I'm expecting most people will be running Tac Mask Pro, but then they will switch to Marathon because everyone is running smoke, but then...

I like it because it will offset FJP in a way. You either get spotted on the mini map with a spy plane up or you avoid napalm, the choice is yours.

No, that's actually a steal for him. From what I know, he is actually a pretty decent player. I'm not sure many of the captains have played with him before so they didn't bid on him.

ya well i over paid in the sense that i could have gotten him for 6$ but like I said, 7 people, 1000 bucks = 142$ a person. so I'm okay with paying that. Esp since i should be able to pick up some other scum for a mere 21$
