Also, can anyone with some programming experience comment on the difficulty of providing stat tracking for each individual weapon? From my uneducated viewpoint it seems like it wouldn't be very difficult.

You could track any level of granularity, client side. Stuff that happens on your end has already come from the server/host so wouldn't increase traffic, so after that it's just a case of processing a minor stat on the console and adding 1 to a counter.

You know that some of these things are going to be the next montage moments.

Projectile knife across the map.
Crossbow hits across the map to watch the explosions...etc.

I'm pretty pumped though. It's definitely passed my expectations so far.

Battlefield BC 2 tracks all stats for all weapons.. Your guns anyways..

Trailer looks good. However it appears that they have gone the MW2 way and made the game very arcade like. Which is fair enough, seeing as it will appear to a wider audience.

I am a fan of treyarch, and no matter what the trailer looked like i was going to be pre-ordering a copy.

Also, noticed some added lines on the wiki page:

so zombies is basically like horde mode on gears 2? is there a break between levels? how many levels? how many players play at once? was there connection issues in WaW?

There is a gap between levels, cant remember, but it wasnt v long. Unlimited levels. Minimum of 2 players online, just you if you do it on campaign.

there were some glitches so people ending up either going forever or getting to the end (i don't remember if there was a max level)...4 players max

there is a considerable delay between the time the arrow hits and it explodes...basically appears to function the same as a semtex (except shooting it will make it easier to stick people ldo)

So has it been confirmed that kill streaks won't add up? Or is that just what everybody is guessing?

I hope that's wrong because that is one of my favorite things about mw2.

Also, wtf at not bringing back the NUKE?!?!?? That's another one of my favorite things about mw2. Either getting one or buzzkilling somebody right before they do.
