Yeah I moved to hard then achieved "the game is harder now." Working on unlocking the polaroid now. TBH Azazel is so fun I may just stick with him. Judas is ****ing impossible.

Cain sucks now that pills can still hurt you. He was by far my favorite to play with before.

It was a good change, still has solid base damage and they aren't likely to hurt and you get the gambling bonus

in controls there is a drop option but didnt manage to use it.
what can u drop?
some items are instant run killers I think.
had an atrocious combo of antigravity tears+biggest tears at close range+angle trinket that was impossible to control
rotating tears seems ok if u got attack speed but at slow speed its awfull.
tooo many items!

some things I dont like at all are invisible monsters and dark rooms.
walking on a dark screen is not fun even with gamma high its really bad design.
overall Im surprised by the quality of the game I excepted not much of it tbh.
hopefully there will be some minor change to tune everything perfect but this game is a big big win (kinda wish I didnt play so much original tho).

As someone who has only ever played this with a gamepad, this game is functionally unplayable without it

Although I've been using a controller more recently because I've been playing on the TV, I much prefer using a keyboard when at the desk.

pretty sure I'm not taking Ludo Tech unless I already have brim/Azazel then its beast, so much extra work

its probably like Knife where its really good but you need a few runs with it, died at satan on a run that would have easily cleared

reached the heart with 1 and a half heart left.
go looking for hearts and try get a pill in between traps.
walk on traps.
die in next room vs innofensive monster.

agree it makes some rooms annoying but for most bosses its OP.

First run with Azazel and it was super OP. Non stop damage items. I got that super boss run room for the first time and cleared it in like 2 mins. Azazel is OP.

This game runs so much smoother than the original game on my laptop. Opened a door to one of those big rooms and roughly 20 flies attacked with no noticable dip in performance. In tBoI-WotL that would have slowed everything to a crawl.

There's two problems.

1. I'm really bad with the keyboard.

2. I'm playing on our laptop and the arrow keys and wasd keys are ****ing tiny and I have really big hands

some things unexpected:
-got a pills that gave me xray vision (I think)
-opened a trap to a 2d side view level exactly a la zelda 2 with an item to grab

also I guess controlling these tears with the mouse would be so easy.
is dr foetus and epicac still in the game?

Has anyone really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like?
