same everything.. replayed a seed with some good drops & used bombs to guess @ secret rooms because i knew i would plenty to spare.. opens up so many great strategy decisions.

Interesting...so I assume using them means you can't unlock anything or get any achievements during those runs, right? Seems cheesy if you can.

I got Azazel with an actual Brimstone and Poly. It was ****ing absurd. Was 2 shotting every boss. Beat mom's heart 3-4 times so far in 10 ish runs. This game is so fun. I really wish we could play 2 player online though.

Just turned the filter off in options, game looks so much better now.

I can't check it right now but I'm reading on wiki that you can save a game in the progress now? I.e. if have just 20 minutes I can still fire a game and leave after 20 mins and come back to it later? Did I miss it?

edit: also from wiki: re: hard difficulty: it seems like that it's for the experience (I guess I was a scrub for playing on easy so far - I want to unlock things quickly though) and on top it contains some items exclusive to hardmode

edit2: someone asked about ??? being gone, I think he's there still as a boss, not sure if as a playable character, I think I don't want to spoil that

edit3: there was also a post on reddit regarding the timer between the levels, but I didn't want to read that neither.

Yep. You can quit mid run and continue from where you left off next time you start the game. It's awesome.

This game is absolutely amazing, why sequels that can live up to the hype are such a rarity nowadays...

Just had my first Guppy transformation, still pretty broken. Additionally I got Book of Shadows + the battery that stores energy for a 2nd item charge. Guppy + 20 seconds of invulnerability = easiest Satan fight ever.

Yea guppy is op. Had that with the rotten baby and brimstone baby....not even fair

Flight is much better in Rebirth

Biggest improvement, not being sad when you get cat o' 9 tails or lemon mishap. Both are quite strong now

I almost accidentally beat mom's heart on hard. Didn't realize it was on hard until I killed the foot. I had a terrible build too and only 1.5 hearts entering the heart fight and managed to get it down to like 3%. Sad day...probably the best I've ever played on a single run too.

what's the deal with eden? you need tokens to play her, and she always spawns with random stats?

Yup, I was pretty lucky to have a strong build going the first time I faced her, still got hit a bunch of times

well, hard difficulty is really challenging, torn on having challenging gameplay vs unlocking secrets the fastest way

By far the most fun/cool thing I've encountered so far:

Unlock everything you can on normal then switch for good

I think that will be the trend once people have 100+hrs and better mechanic knowledge

lol Im bad at this game havent beat nor encounter mom yet.
is it me or keys are beyond rares?
last run I skipped 3 items room that made the run very difficult.
didnt have a run with good damage yet but didnt play too much tho.
I find the game harder than original ,dont think it took me that long in original to reach mom.

Had by far my most op build...didnt even get hit by the heart and no devil room
