Oops, you're right. I fail at item and enemy names. You just control the direction of the familiar with your arrow keys/tear fire direction. Just park yourself over a rock and destroy the room. Bisnap has a Lost run on Twitch atm with ???'s Only Friend and just found a 9 lives in the depths, pretty much gg. I took it on a whim without any other items and was surprised at how safe it is as long as you're quick about getting to a safe spot when you enter a room. And then the random room that has no protection and messy enemies, particularly teleporting monsters. I would rather have had Holy Mantle or 9 lives than the stopwatch, at least then you aren't instantly screwed by teleports.

Is there at least different endings for beating him with different characters? Seems pretty anticlimactic.

It was pretty ingenious actually when a stream tip told him to use the Blank Card item he'd found in one room to dupe an abundance rune, but he had just found a change rune, so with the habit he basically had a 4 bar d6 for that floor. The Blank Card basically uses the current tarrot card or rune in your hand without consuming it. Didn't wait to see how far he got, but at one point he had a few hundred items in a room just pushing him back and forth without slowing the game down at all. They've done an awesome job with this version of the game, it's a lot more enjoyable to break and screw around with now

I kind of hope they make it so gold chests draw from the pool of the room they're in, it looks like currently they just draw from the chest pool where in the original they'd use the chest pool only if they weren't in a special room in which case they'd use that pool. You can spawn a ton of items and spend hours looking for judgement or arcade machine cards and use them to spawn items in the room, but that's not fun.

just beat isaac after last run ultra fail where I thought I could just face tank it and died like a noob.
this run I carried the deck of cards from basement till the end and got shielded tears whoosh and bigger tears when closer.
shielded tears is unreal easy mode (also had lil brimstone friend and lot of other buddies).

on another note had a great build ruined by a dice room I should have read the wiki but got lazy.

you do break the game when you run out of trinkets almost everything else is fair game

I'm down to 900, 999 donation machine(plus touch blue candle/stop watch), challenges 6,7,8,9,13(aka the aids ones) for platinum god

I really don't want to grind the challenges, no tears is so unfun.

Just got super carried with the Lost and beat the boss rush, but screwed up by grabbing the polaroid instead of the negative since I already cleared ??? last night. I found 9 lives and the stopwatch in basement 1, a few damage ups and not much else until a depths 1 knife and a depths 2 holy mantle. I didn't even end up needing the mantle or cat, never taking a hit or a cat death the whole game (and no guppy), but now I still have a dark room run to do

Dark room has some super troll rooms, 2xfallen, 2-3x adversaries can end the holy mantle/cat runs everything else is easy with that build.

Lamb has some really tough rng runs as well but if you have 3 shots you'll get one of his super easy ones

Definitely sucks to waste a god rng run though

Knife guppy sucks now, its basically useless on lost, Brim guppy is super strong

I picked up spoonbender at the boss rush and didn't have much shot speed up, it works much better with a slower knife than it does compared to the other times I've had it with a lot of shot speed. If it peaks around the boss it'll just kind of hover for a bit and chop up anything near the boss too. It was the easiest knife run I've had, though still a bit behind a good brim/guppy.

I had something that made me teleport to a random room on the floor with some probability every time I got hurt. Made it to Mom's heart with loads of health and a pretty strong build but of course this teleporting fakk-up-ery got the best of me. Anyone know what this is?

its not as bad as it's rep, its pretty good with the slow charge effects like quad, poly you just nuke **** with the 4 shot burst

now quad and poly don't really need that kind of help its more it does have uses

Thanks, god that was frustrating. The teleport is not random as I thought. According to the rebirth wiki you teleport if you get hit while charging.
