i took a week off and came back motivated can comfortably get to the final boss but i just dont have the bullet dodging skills to defeat it unless ive got disgustingly good damage

I obviously couldn't not avoid spoilers but I had mostly no idea what some of the things are, until today where I managed to progress tiny bit further... Jesus christ am I expected to plat this game in this lifetime?

edit: damn, I just noticed steam reviews are at 75%, people are mad

Just cheesed my way through Seeing Double challenge. I guess I discovered a bug - 9 lives early (picked up by Esau fwiw) to my surprise let me continue after I ran out of all lives. So I just had to do all of the bosses and rooms without taking damage with infinite retries. Took me 90 minutes, but hey, I'm happy. I'm reporting it to Nicalis though. Some of the rooms took me 5+ minutes and some of the bosses 10+ minutes of continuous attempts.

Yeah I came across that one early on and cheesed a W with it lol, surprised they haven’t patched it yet in the updates. It’s only if you pick it up with Esau.

had another bug had three guppy items with jacob and esau all on one character and it didnt give me the transformation, i honestly hate the character and dont see how im going to get most of the postmarks with it

Pretty sure I had guppy transformation the other day and then lost it when I replaced guppy’s head with a different space bar item. Maybe you have to be carrying the active items in order for them to count towards the transformation now?

That sucks? Guppy is rare enough they didn't have to do it imo. Or maybe not because it's OP and then you shouldn't have to replace anything. Not sure how I feel about it.

You have to keep all the items now. They added another guppy item and a trinket(must be unlocked).

it was yeah but honestly im so demoralised just from the character im half tempted to pack the whole game in, but knowing me im probably going to give it a few days and go back to the grind

yeah, I get annoyed at BoI every now and then yet continue every single dlc till plat. Therefore I'm a bit surprised there are so many bad reviews, this content you're supposed to do in a year and people rage one month in that it's too hard, heh.

the thing is im not raging at the game, the game is essentially perfect and i do enjoy the difficulty curve as sick as that sounds, i just wish i was good enough to complete it, and with 1500 hours in the game its killing me im not

I think I got punished for not clearing corpse 1 & 2, I thought it's overkill and I didn't want to mess up.

edit: and oh and I had taurus making rooms absolute joke, funny enough I usually don't pick it but it was a blind pick so I guess it's good to be proven wrong
