Yeah I'm sad I missed it in real time. Grand poo bear is pretty much the only streamer (especially mm) that I can tolerate for more than 12 seconds.

Kind of agree I basically thought "who gives a ****?", but there ended up being more runs that I was interested in/found interesting than I thought. Quick summary of personal highlights:

Baba is You: My brain exploded. Punchy and his co-commentator were great.

Ratchet and Clank: UYA: Xem is one of my favorite runners (and probably the GOAT of RaC runners) and the game itself is pretty impressive.

KH2 Data Org: Basically a boss rush of all the postgame super bosses. I can barely do this maxed on Normal and the run is on Critical mode (hardest difficulty) and Level 1. Basically any mistake just instantly kills you.

GTA: Vice City: Runner and couch are supremely entertaining.

Pump it Up!: Not exactly a speedrun (it's a DDR-style game), but holy **** was the guy impressive. If I was half as good at anything as this guy is at the game, I'd be pretty happy.

Legend of Zelda: BotW: Seemed like kind of a meme category IMO, but still fun. BotW tricks are pretty fun.

Pokemon Shield: Wouldn't necessarily recommend unless you like Pokemon, but the couch/runner are entertaining.

I didn't watch much because I prefer by far when they all sit in a big room for days and slowly reach dementia.
Favorite I saw was Portal speedrun.
This was such a mind blowing run with the screen changing direction and rooms really fast, felt like watching descent
(I never liked portal and quit after 30mins but watching someone speedrun it is impressive)

Glad you liked the VC run (was if Frew doing it?), while I think the game was a lot more entertaining as a run before duping was discovered, I think he did all missions iirc? That negates things somewhat

Yeah, it's pretty egregious honestly. Portal 1/2 is easily one of my favorite games ever made.

I also hated portal and have the same experience. Which is crazy cause I generally love those types of games.

I never played portal 2 but I've been told it's better and less repetitive than the 1st one (maybe by you a while ago).
What put me off of portal was after the 1st few rooms it looked like very repetitive.
Anyway it was years ago and I loved the witness since then (didn't finish tho).
I'm not much of a hardcore puzzle guy.

I also uninstalled rocket league after a few hours of play.
