I've been playing a ton, the game is great and has a potential to go really far. The initiative mechanic, pace of play / frequency of back-and-forths (especially the item subgame in early turns), and skill intensive randomness (arrows + basic creep deploys) set a great foundation. I expect to get bored with the base set from playing so much, but I have a lot of faith in the long-term prospects of this game.
I copied a spreadsheet off of reddit and have been tracking my drafts. 71% match win so far after 28 drafts. My 2 color decks are doing way better than 3 color, and despite the memes about Blue being terrible, my worst performing 3color combination is Red/Green/Black. I haven't done a single 4 color deck.
Early interaction seems a bit undervalued right now, I see a lot of people losing games with too many cards still in their hand. Avernus' blessing / combat training aren't cards I want to see in my deck, but think they are totally fine 39th/40th cards in decks without many 3 creeps, and can occasionally contribute to a massive snowball when they flip turn 1 or turn 2 combat math.
Winter Wyvern is probably my vote for most undervalued hero, I love mobility options within a lane. I've moved Farvan up on my list recently too. Before I think I was reluctant to plop his signature minion down in marginal situations and it just clogged up my hand, but if you draft for it, he contribute's a lot to green's plan of gumming up the board and setting up an arm the rebellion / rumusque's blessing type
