I couldn't find a droid thread, so here's one. I guess a lot of people's favourite games/apps will be duplicates of iphone ones, but I still thought this would be useful.
Games I've actually paid for:
They need to be fed. Awesome game, kind of a combo of Limbo and Mario Galaxy.
Reckless Racing. By far the best racing game I've tried on my phone (aside from on Onlive, but I'll get to that in a bit).
Humble bundle for android. Includes Anomaly, Edge, Osmos and World of Goo (if you pay higher than the average for the bundle. I haven't actually played these yet (apart from WoG on my PC), so can't comment on them. The games also come with a steam activation key.

Free games.
Kid mode. Probably the app that gets most use on my phone, it allows your kids to use your apps (that you've allowed them to), and more kids games in the app itself, without being able to get to the home screen. I can't overstate how brilliant this app is, any of you with kids get it now. There's a subscription which allows access to more e-books and stuff, but I just use the free version atm.
Then there's Slice It, Angry birds, paper toss, Hex defense, Wordfeud etc, but everyone probably already has those.
Apps.
2+2 app. You all use this already right?
Onlive. Having only used it once, this seems like it'll be the future of gaming to me. Basically it's Steam for your TV (and now phone), but the games run on Onlive's servers and they just stream the video to you. I had Dirt 3 running at near PC level graphics on my droid. Fairly uncontrollable without a pad though (I'm not sure if you can use the Onlive controller with your phone).
3DS buddy. Gives you virtual copies of the AR cards for the 3DS. Great for the kids to use, but they only seem to work in well lit conditions.
Google Sky. This just rocks. Point your phone at the sky and it tells you what stars/constellations you can see. I'm an amateur astronomer and love this (it also has a red mode to not destroy your night vision).
Invisibright. I use this every day, it allows you to set the screen brightness while in (almost) any app, really quickly.
Full Tilt Rush poker. I still have this installed, just in case.
That'll do for now, please share your best droid games and apps.
