I've been studying affects on players after a big pot in my pokertracker data recently. I have over 2.5 million hands and am looking at my data on hands following a net win or loss of 100 Big Bets. I have found that players through their next 1, 6, and 12 hands have increased winrates, higher VPIPs, and lower aggression factors. All of this data was statistically significant. So this leads me to ask why are these players playing looser and more passive after a big encounter at the tables.

please forum help me understand this

i think most players feel good to have won a big pot and they want to be able to enjoy there win for a while.
