FT account without rake back, is it possible to change this? FT account without rake back, is it possible to change this?

Hi. I remember I saw a post a while back where this guy said he made the mistake to sign up on Full Tilt without an affiliate and thus not getting the 27% rakeback deal, and someone replied that it's possible to renew his account and receive the rakeback too, but I don't remember what he was supposed to do in order for that to happen.

So does anybody know if and how I can pull this off? I made an account a while back through an affiliate that offered a free 50$ bankroll, is it possible to renew it somehow and get the rakeback?

Joining in on the question. I made an account years ago, never deposited, didnt log in for AGES. And now I'm thinking to give full-tilt a try but not without the rakeback.

Any help appreciated.

Hi Folks,

You need to email Full Tilt, as they are the only ones that can help you on an existing account. You can't get rakeback through an affiliate like us at this point, but you may be able to get it through FTP's in house program. For the OP, since you signed up through a different affiliate for the instant bankroll, you're probably out of luck I'm sorry to say

If you guys can't get rakeback on Full Tilt, you may want to consider moving your play to a different site such as Cake Poker. They've become highly popular for players who can't get rakeback on Full Tilt.

i just emailed them. hopefully they can give me rakeback on my existing account

yeah, I've tried this too.

unfortunately, for me, as well as a whole **** load of others

our accounts get tagged to an affiliate, mostly because we were unaware of clearing cookies from our browsers first.

at one point we visited a site, then some site sets a cookie to our browser, we download/install full tilt. and from there appear to be ****ed

good luck to the rest of you, they will not ever get me on their site again because of this.

although I fully understand they can't just give the other affiliate the finger, and change me, they still lose me as a customer (sure they don't give a ****)

I fall under this category. I can't get RakeBack on FT b/c I did not pay attention when I was signing up years ago. I'm a low stakes grinder (Gold/Platinum on PS) and really would prefer cash RB over FPPS. I have e-mailed FT numerous times, with no success. I was referred to Cake Poker, so I created an account and was linked to a 33% RB affiliate successfully. HOWEVER, it is nearly impossible to deposit money on Cake Poker. Both my check card and credit card were rejected, and the "eWallet" account (which is the only other option) is an absolute joke and I cannot set one up. I've also tried CarbonPoker and two or three other sites, but the combination of lack of quality and inability to get RB has brought me back to PS. I prefer FT over all these sites though and would play on Cake if it let me deposit $$. I'm resigned to the fact that I'll be forever without real RB (18% on PS is crap), just hoping that FT finally comes around and lets me sign up, because all they're doing is losing customers by not providing more RB opportunities. Anyone have any suggestions?

maybe you have a friend you could exchange money with, send money on stars in return for money on cake

I've thought about asking friends - but nobody I know plays both sites unfortunately. So frustrating.

plz update how you're doing, Im personally waiting with the email till I drive my br to about 1K. In the meantime im trying to learn all I can about the process.

why dont you ask them to tell you who the affiliate is and then ask them to simply relink you to the same affiliate? that way, they dont give the finger to said affiliate, you still get rake back and you can still play

I emailed them saying I am a gold level player on PS and would transfer my play to FT with rakeback. Within a couple of days, they hooked me up with rakebackpros. Probably worth about $1K a year for me.

I have an account on FT but I only used it for play money and only a few times. Here's the kicker:

I haven't used it in almost a year.
I have moved since the last time I used it.
I'm on a different IP address.
I could use a different email address.
They have no CC or bank info on me.

Would I be at risk of losing my account if I created a new one and never used the old one ever again?

You're stuck like me. I signed up for the instant bankroll bonus too (but I didnt get it because I have 2 accounts, one of which was closed because I didnt know login ID = avatar name)

It would be better for you to go to some other poker room like Cake
