In the lower stakes of zone poker im curious how I should treat AK. Should this be a hand im willing to go all in with vs a single raiser or should i just be calling 3 bets and playing from there. Hands like this I think are alot tougher without a Hud.

Should have mentioned im assuming 100BB stacks

I don't play Zone, but I've done a fair bit of micro zoom. My play with AK all comes down to positions. Sometimes it's a 3b/5b stack off. Sometimes it's a raise-call (vs a 3-bet). Sometimes it's a cold 4b, but a fold to jam.
I'm more inclined to flat if the 3-bettor is OOP (i.e. in the blinds), because his 3-bet range is weak (it contains AJs or A5s etc), but his stack off range is very strong (QQ+), and it's easy to realize your equity when you're IP. I'm not a fan of flatting 3-bet with AKo when I'm OOP, as it just means I end up check-folding too many flops.
AKs is different to AKo, btw. With the suited version, I basically play it the same way as KK and pretty much never press the fold button pre-flop.

I play zone 5nl, trying to work up to 25nl

I think you should play it aggressively pre but only to a limit. I would fold to an AI. I think you can 3bet-4bet with it but vs a jam with 100BB you are usually up against AA, KK, maybe QQ. I think people play tighter on zone so you need to adjust.

Now on regular tables, people are much more loose. I think calling an AI or shoving, depending on player, makes sense with AK.

It depends on positions.
