My earliest ranges were some old spreadsheets that were being shared around here 15+ years ago. When I was playing live I was mostly playing off memory and what felt reasonable, same as when I started playing online a few months ago. Then I joined redchippoker and studied their ranges. For the most part I was pretty close, I was rarely more than 1 pip off what they recommended. I was slightly overvaluing offsuit hands and undervaluing suited ones. I also was not 3-betting or 4-betting enough, although that was somewhat learned behavior from live 1/2 where people limp instead of open and 3-bets are often KK+. Although I'm constantly adjusting my ranges on the fly to exploit the table, usually going wider to iso a fish or steal the blinds. Occasionally I'll have to tighten up against tough players on my left (and I'll also look for a different table).

He has some new GTO ranges. At least I think they're new. They are definitely much different than the ones I've seen around before from his site.

Somewhat recently pointed out to me that GTOWizard released free solved 50NL preflop ranges for every spot. I've been using them to run solves with piosolver's 74 flop subset, and posting the results here.

So far I think I've only posted BU vs BB SRP, but I've solved BU vs BB 3bet, SB vs BB SRP, SB vs BB 3bet, and CO vs BU 3bet. Will be posting them all here. Honestly, I've solved so many spots but I haven't actually played nor looked at them for more than 3 hours combined lmao

Zenith because a few people here kept recommending them. I've not really tried anywhere else. It's possible that Upswing or someone else has better ranges but I kept hearing Zenith's were the most accurate.

To be fair, I've only seen his free videos on Youtube. For what they were (free Youtube videos) I thought they were OK. Not amazingly in-depth but I've definitely seen worse "coaches" on Youtube.

I used to think SplitSuit was pretty bad. Pretty much every video he'd just mumble something about villain's range being inelastic and tell people to bet bigger with made hands. But this was in like 2016 so maybe he's improved now. BlackRain79 is obviously horrible.

GTOWizard!

I'm a huge GTOWizard fan (so much easier and faster than running solves myself in GTO+) and in addition to their solved preflop 500z rake ranges they've had since launch, they recently released preflop 6 max ranges solved at 50z rake for free. They are available for everyone even without a paid subscription.

From the people I've talked to and in my experience the GTO Wizard solves are pretty mediocre, especially preflop. It's not like they are blatantly incorrect, but there are many preflop spots that are tweaked wrong. Ask anyone with lots of solver knowledge.

Can you elaborate on why you say they are tweaked wrong? Is it something with their MonkerSolver settings?

I have no experience with preflop solvers, but this is from their website.

I guess the one thing that I can tell is their NL50 ranges are for a cap of 4BB, but the cap on Bovada is 8BB.

Interesting that they solve for 0.4%

I'm not really an expert on it just something I have heard from other good players

Mostly GTO. You could nodelock and calculate optimal exploits against fish.

My recommendation is to spend some time following ranges by heart, but at some point you just need to eyeball it and guess if the exploit is worth it

Bluffthespot ranges. They recommend a three bet or fold strategy, but I'm not yet convinced that 'ss a good strategy at the micros. I'm paying more rake and with huge variance. Until I play three bet pots better postflop though, I don't know if preflop is good or bad.
