For say 100bb/100 std dev and 3bb/100 winrate you should expect to win 55% of sessions. I guess at that point the habits of when you quit has much more to do with winning/losing days ratio than variance.

Or if you play high volume you can win a very high %, as punter already proved statistically.

Additionally, if you grind until unstuck often, that will increase the percentage. Not tilting helps a lot.

Don't have enough of a recent sample to comment. Will definitely update at some point though-- but I will say I think my % pretty damn high. This isn't to say that I'm awesome or anything. What I was getting at with this thread is there are a lot of things that could affect this such as:

-winrate
-standard deviation
-hands/day
-quitting habits
-tilt or lack thereof

I win 77% of days somehow. Won 199 out of 258. Only played 270k hands all of them HU 85% of them at PLO. I had a very bad year and didn't win nearly as much as I hoped. Lots of days where I would get stuck 8+BI grind for 12 hours get unstuck and quit.

2/4-5/10, play on a few sites and games are similar everywhere imo. 6max mainly but I have a super secret method that very few know of, and even fewer put it into practice!

idk, hard to make sense of a post i made at 5am on nye but i probably meant sessions significantly longer than the average session length particularly when stuck. I mean it would be pretty hard to have a more significant impact on win% than std dev/winrate unless you're going to the extreme on either end (being very likely to quit as soon as your up a buy in and on the flip side playing redic long sessions in order to get unstuck).

I think it would be really interesting to see different win percentages for people that don't vary session length or at least don't vary based on results.

How do I check this without counting manually?

I don't know but here is how to make counting manually easier (for HM1 but probably works for HM2 as well):
-go to sessions tab and "group by" day.
Sort by amount won so you have all the winning days at the top. Make HM full screen and make session top window wide enough to contain exactly say 20 sessions. Now click below the slider of the window - it moves down exactly one screen.
-count how many green screens you have, multiply by 20. Those are winnings days. This is at least not that much clicking

I just checked my 500 ZOOM from previous year and I won in 53.2% of days.
I played 120 hours (125k hands) of 1/2 ZOOM as well earlier in 2012 and I won 64% of days there (my winrate was 5.5bb/100)

Must be about 70-75% iirc, 6.sth bb/100.

I do tend to play longer when I'm stuck. Dunno where this thread is getting at either

half of my action is played on a site that HM2 and PT4 don't support. it's tracked but only in $ amount and total # of hands.

if u rly don't believe me, lets bet. i have 10k that says i can post graphs of last year all hands i played @ stakes 5/10+ with the total EV adjusted earn rate being >$1.25/hand.
