I don't know if I'm going to vote, but one of my best poker friend's girlfriends is helping out with his campaign, so if I were to vote, it'd be for obama.

1. Is there any particular reason you're playing on Stars as opposed to FTP? I think you mentioned you used to play on FTP, what made you change? Is the VIP system on Stars better than the RB from FTP?

2. How do the uNL players compare at Stars and FTP? Is one site tougher or generally the same?

Thanks for taking the time to do this, and I'm sorry about your(?) dog. My GF got a puppy last year, and I'd be sad if she was gone.

FTP's software (laggy and ugly) + the downtime that they had earlier in the year made me wanna switch to Stars, and I just love the software and the support and everything about the site (except no datamining). I think it's something like you have to get to 300k VPP to equal FTP, but don't quote me because I have no idea, it's comparable enough and their player pool is massive.

I'm the wrong person to ask about the state of uNL games in relation from site to site, but if it's anything like SSNL/MSNL, FTP is a LOT more aggressive both pre and postflop. Stars regulars just seem more content to wait for hands.

Gelford, lol. Yep, you're right. I was thinking Greek when I wrote it and somehow it came out German.

Would you rather be a 8bb/100 hand winner with no br management or a 1bb/100 winner with great br management?

How long do you play your heaters/ how quickly can you get away when you're running cold

If you move to Vegas what games do you plan to start out playing? What BR rules do you use for grinding?

Hey thac!

Did you ever have a subscription to stoxpoker or CR before making vids on your own?

What are you thinking about these sites and others (which games are tought better on a separate site/is it useful for uNL-players...)?

Thank you for doing this!

1bb with br management will stay alive longer than 8bb with none, so probably that. I think both of those lifestyles suck though :P

If you mean how long are my sessions when going well/bad, I try to play one-hour sessions no matter what happens, but I definitely feel more motivated to play longer sessions when I'm running cold.. mostly I just keep all sessions to 1 hr or just over that.

I don't even know, I'd say probably start at 2/5 since I've only played live once and I'm pretty sure I suck at it.

How do you crush tournaments so well?

Sum up the brew in one sentence.

Thoughts on NL200 - 600 in comparison to NL50-NL100.

Sweat me again.

I currently have subscriptions at Leggo, DeucesCracked and CR, and have had a membership at stoxpoker in the past. I'd say if I had to break it down, it'd go something like this:

DeucesCracked -> uNL looking to move to SSNL and MSNL
Leggo -> SSNL or MSNL looking to move to HSNL
CR -> Pretty well-diversified but mostly for SSNL/MSNL people that want to learn new games (PLO, MTTs, etc..)
Stox -> More geared towards limit, or at least it used to be, but has good NL videos from leatherass and cottonseed. ((Note - I can't say currently what the state of Stox is, but that's what my analysis was when I was a member.))

I don't even come close to crushing tournaments, I just had a huge heater in the Million.

Brew = What would happen if an elementary school was exposed to gambling and alcohol.

200-600 compared to 50-100 = The same game (poker and stuff) and the same types of tables (full of regs with a few fish). The difference is the abundance of fish in uNL and the lack of aggression especially postflop in uNL. Also, the regulars have less noticeable leaks at higher stakes but that should be pretty standard.

I dunno, if I sweat you again, I'm not playing, dropping 6.5 buyins wasn't fun.

1 - Yeah, for sure. But like, I haven't done anything rash with my money, I've always made sure I was comfortably life-rolled for everything I did (for the most part).

2 - I have no idea, I'm hoping it's not an issue. But like, it's gonna be a complete lifestyle change but it's also gonna make my life more comfy wrt benefits, being able to finance a car or get a loan for a house, and all that jazz.

3 - I think you're pretty tight for setting up the march madness contest, but pissed that you rigged it so I'd get last.

Thanks for doing this.

I can't get my mind around the concept of bet/folding the river. Can you post an example hand where you did this and some of your reasoning behind it.

Villain was pretty passive and would call with 66, 44, 33 and maybe like an A2 type hand but will only raise with something that beats me. This is a really thin bet but check/calling here is pretty bad because he's gonna check behind with hands that might call and he's gonna mainly bet with hands that beat me, but sometimes he might bet with a hand I beat and it's just a guessing game once I check, but if I bet, he can either call or raise, and I know exactly what to do when he raises.

Haha, until I moved out, yeah they wanted to see me in a factory slaving away, but once they saw that I was paying bills with poker money they started to accept it more freely. I guess they just didn't really know too much about it but since I lived a year essentially paying for everything and am not broke, they're all for it now.
