I call and he turns over an ace every time even though he limped and is shorted stacked?

x flop, lots of Ax/Kx in dat limping range. AP I like the fold on the river.

I am getting 2.5:1 on the flop, don't need much fold equity to make a profit and it's a scary flop, Is nobody taking a shot?

I prob x/f OTF w this hand. going to be extremely hard to continue OOP after V cb's (if we opt to x/c) and we are going to have little equity. For these reasons I think I like x/f>lead>x/c. At least w the lead we get V off some hands w decent equity (over-cards). A spot many people (myself included) are probs making mistakes by check calling. Interested to hear any arguments defending the x/c.

You're overthinking it. 93o on a AK3 flop is a check/fold regardless of how you got there. Maybe if it were SB vs BB and the SB completed HU it's worth a stab but OOP I just ditch it on the flop.

I've always been pretty bad with limped pots HU, so maybe take this with a grain of salt. Figured I'd lay out my thoughts regardless.

I generally don't hate stabbing in these kinds of spots, but an unknown fish at 2NL probably isn't going to fold anything better on this flop. Give me an A38r flop instead and I'm stabbing a lot more because it's hard for villain to continue with a large portion of his range.

I c/f this flop. We probably have the equity to c/c, but it seems hard to ever get to showdown to realize it -- we have to fold unimproved on every turn and on every river, and villain gets two chances to catch something if he's stabbing flop with air.

I'm more uncertain about what to do when we have, like, K6o here. C/c flop, c/f turn?
