Na this is never a fold

Flop raise is a bit big, otherwise seems fine

We are 3bet getting it because his range is wider than AA.

I don't like the call pre and leading the flop line. If I were villain, i'd raise you there b/c your line makes no sense as you would probably try and c/r a set.
Rest of the hand played itself after the turn card imo.

I'd consider folding pre or 3 betting. Or you could c/r flop and fold if he comes over the top.

Hand two screams KK, AA when UTG calls and raises. I'd play it the same but check river too.

Hand 3 looks good. Maybe c/f river depending on villain.

Put some stats in and it's easier to give a good response.

Hand 1: Looks fine.

Hand 2: I probably bet the turn since you have the NFD to go with your kings. As it turns out, I doubt you missed much value though, since if you bet the turn villain might fold on that scary board and even if he calls a bet, he is probably c/f river (though you don't know that OTT).

Hand 3: I might call this river, but maybe I am a donk. You are only beat by the A or the Q and I think the villain leads out that turn with the A. I think this particular villain may also bet a worse for 1/2 psb on the river for a call to be profitable.

Only 35 hands on each villain. MP is a 38/9 fish, per PTR's free search he has a win rate of -6BB/100 over 12k hands at 10NL, CO is 38/16, but per PTR has a win rate of +3BB/00 over 65k hands at 10NL. Haven't seen CO 3bet yet (only 12 opps).

My guess is that I should have 3bet pre. My thinking at the time was that although MP is fish, he is raising a relatively tight range (8-10%). I also didn't have any information on the CO's 3bet range. I suspect that the fish is not folding much, so I would think that CO would be raising for value here mostly (since he probably also realizes the fish is raising relatively narrow and limping his weaker stuff). Finally, since MP is likely to call a 3bet, I probably still wind up 3 way. Since I have position on them I flat.

My real question is post-flop. After it is checked to me, I'm thinking this flop is a good flop to bet. By flatting the CO preflop, I think I look pretty strong. 88-JJ hit this flop hard, and I could have a slow-played AA-QQ (though I generally won't). Is this a bet 2/3 PSB or so?

Why did you decide to lead out on river after c/c'ing turn? I don't think you can get called by worse. I'd c/c again most likely as played, but personally I think I'd rather barrel turn and then c/f river.



I think I barrel the turn here since you pick up equity.

Second orbit at the table, no reads on villain other than that he's opened twice and I have ~15 hands on him from a previous session and seems taggish.

actually i think a flop raise has some merit but only because it prevents you from levelling yourself into making call downs like you did above. if you call flop you have to have good reads on your opposition to make a call on the turn. otherwise i think a turn call loses you more money than it wins simply because you end up calling off the river like you did too often.

fold turn >raise flop >call turn > call riv

Villain is 18/16 tight tag. 25% steal from sb, 75% cbet (3/4), 100% turn cbet (2/2), 1/1 river cbet up to this hand. Is river a fold? He is almost never bluffing here given his line and river bet size. Only hand I can see him vbing river with that I beat is aj. I didn't 3 bet pre because he is folding to 100% 3b (5/5) and I don't wanna fold out all of his ax hands that I dominate.

What do you guys think of the squeeze?

I would probbably have paid him off aswell. im not glad about it but it would be hard, atleast for me, to fold AQ there. sometimes I like to raise that kind of flop though against a tight, regish player, cause they will fold any two overs so many times.

I agree raising against this kind of villain is probably the best play with a solid image, but I had been playing slaggy and don't think my flop raise would get much respect here, so I decided to peel one off and reevaluate ott.

I like this since, SB is a fish, you have good hand and position AND the button looks at least somewhat competent.
