I assume we have the greenlight to VB the river once he checks back on the turn.

Is sizing okay?

Anyone like another 1/3 or so on the turn?

Too think imo. I'd rather bluff catch.

I dont think you really take this line as a bluff so hard to be balanced.

Flop is a bet big spot but would X this hand.

Run out is actually good for you since it makes weak Ax less likely.

Can get on board with thin value for 1/3 OTR. Vbetting only Ax is too nitty

I agree w DD. Vb 1/3 to 40%. Villain has a ton of pp that may also suspiciously call after x ott and bricked draw. Imo you have to call a normal sized raise too for the same reasons.

more interesting than river is what is correct cbetting strategy here, both small and big sizing used?

Define "correct". Optimal is always a mixed strategy utilizing multiple sizings in most scenarios.
If you want one sizing a big sizing with a lot of checks is most optimal here.
Reasons being:

1. Villain has a lot of Ax and is overall not in trouble to defend enough of their range OTF
2. We don't really have hands that benefit a lot from protection betting

This actually changes if Villain would be i.e. MP where they shouldn't be defending all Axs.
In this scenario protection is still not a thing but a small cbet forces villain to have a decent amount raises to be able defend optimally on the flop.

we ned to bet some kings in single bet scenario to not be defenceless on k turn

If you're going for thin value, I'm assuming you're aiming to get called by QJs-QTs, JJ, TT, 99. Obviously, you're also getting called by some Ax. If you go for the bluff catching, you will get value out of a few of those, but bluffs as well. I'm not too sure which is the most profitable line in isolation with this hand, but I can't imagine there's a huge difference, although my preference would be checking.

Effectively, assuming one bet size on your part (for simplification's sake, I know this may not be the case), you have 4 lines you need to account for, x/f, x/c (assuming villain can only raise all-in), b/f, b/c. If you are going this thin for value, how many hands does your x/c line include, and will you be able to call a bet frequently enough for your checking range to be balanced? I don't have the answer to that question, but I feel like it should be a primary question when going for thin value oop.

Yeah I was thinking the same, flop seems like a spot where we wanna bet big or overbet, and since this hand probably isn't strong enough to overbet, I'd check. Not sure how we'd go about playing the rest of the hand though

Ran solve. Flop bet around 2.17.

Turn: 50/50 (about) Bet/Check. I would go with bet here. Villain could have Ax, but also Qx as well. (hence the 50/50)

Since you checked, I will do both solves for river.

If we bet turn, we check river.

If we check turn, we check river. If villain bets we call, with a 15% raise level with this combo.

As played, you could bet turn, either way we might want to check river, and then decide if we want to call.
