Should I lead out on the flop to avoid this mass on the river?

Or fold if he's that big of a nit. But then it's probably better to call pre.

Calling the 4bet OOP is likely no good

you're usually only getting one street of value vs this nit from an underpair anyway, so leading is not terrible. Checking flop is fine also, but you might as well bomb turn even more. If you are only getting one street, you might as well jack up the pot as much as possible, and you want to get value from the earlier streets before he hits some lucky cooler...just shove river, you will make more from his AQ/AJ type stuff than you will getting his KK/QQ type stuff to cool.

He's not that big of a nit, he 4 bet 10s.

    Bet flop, and bet turn.

Snap calling river though because the only hand you can put him on that beats you is 10s. I honestly thought you were splitting.

    What is your image?

I don't know many nits that would call the turn in that stop with 10s after 4 betting and getting called.

    Villain is a terrible nit.

    5bet pre
    calling the 4bet is EV--
you are losing money everytime you miss the flop and ch/f..

You are not traping him if he only 4bets TT+, AK+. Since he wont stack off in any flop with A or K in it..

as played river is an easy call, he could be slowplaying AK and you are only losing to TT. He has more combos of AK,AQ than TT in his 4beting range.
