Thin Value with KQ?? Thin Value with KQ??

01-17-2022 , 05:33 AM
Only reads thus far

Fold to Cbet 0/4
Fold to Flop Bet 0/10
Bet Turn 4/7
Bet River 3/4

Is XR river an option, or too thin?

Thoughts on turn check?

I wouldn't hate a small x/r on the river.
We could get called by worse like QT, maybe even worse Qx and even Jx or worse
How would we react to a 3b though?

Currently there's no evidence villain is going to call wide vs a river raise though.

I like how you played the hand.
Considering a turn x/r, but not sure, might just shut villain's bluffs down.

Pf could be bigger. Flop should be bigger. Turn is just not good. You should keep betting or xr vs that sizing.

I think your flop sizing is a mistake and should be larger. I would also opt to bet turn and evaluate river, although I like to make some kind of block bet on the river.

What is your reasoning for the flop sizing and turn check?

As played -

Turn is at least a call obviously, however we can check raise to mix things up, but I feel all we often achieve is fold out his garbage and play vs the stronger part of his range as villains tend to bet turn in this spot an high % of the time rather than peel..

River

I don't see any other option but call..
