Example 2 of Value Betting

I have been trying to write a response to this explaining that not betting the turn is too tight, but what you say makes a lot of sense (player dependent obv). Are you folding to a large raise on the river on that board in a vacuum?

If someone very wise good go through these hands and show appropriate bet sizing I think that would be awesome info...

helped me a ton...beating 25nl solid now. Was almost there, but this helped me tone down my play a bit for the limit...between making sure why I'm betting and cutting 4-5% of hands out of my range I'm almost back to break even...

Yup.

Basically: Don't over think yourself, you don't need to get too fancy, just play solid and you will win. I am capable of making all sorts of fancy plays and thin value bets and impossible bluffs, floats, etc., but I save those for when I am up against more observant and better opponents. Grinding the micros is pretty much all about patience and showing your opponent the winning and on the river.

Thanks for the kind comments. I think there's enough material out there about preflop play, though. Betsizing is still one of my main leaks, so I can't be of much help I'm afraid
