Only read is that villain is a bit weaker post flop, hence the flat pre.

flat pre seems too loose

I think I prefer to x/r flop

River is tough without any insight into his 3b range. I'm not sure I'm smart enough to fold in the moment, but my understanding is that people tend to underbluff the river. You only have odds vs his value range if he can show up here with ATs or AQ
