6 max cash table
5-10c blinds

Made a return to tables after about a year away.
Started last week.

Hero ($10 stack) raises 30c with 66
Villain ($40 stack) to direct left pops it to $1.05

Button ($20 stack) calls.

Hero???? OUT OF POSITION AGAINST BOTH.

Too early in the session to get profiles.

I folded thinking my stack wasn't deep enough for a smooth call.
Ain't 4 betting out of position here to isolate.
Ain't smooth calling out of position against 4 over cards at best and 1-2 bigger pockets at worst.

Did I miss anything in my thinking?
Been away for too long so a bit rusty in tricky situations.

Was a fold correct here?
Any different perspectives?

You have 100BB eff stacks, you are certainly deep enough to set mine here, especially when action is 3 way

Love calling here - you've got relative position on both and your hand is really easy to play postflop. Hit a set = continue. Miss and you're done. Your implied odds go up since you're up against two players and likely one of them has a big hand.

4-betting is lighting money on fire.

Ok can u guys please explain why I have enough blinds to set mine here.

My thinking at the time was... I gotta call 1/10 of my stack to set mine. ($1.05 3 bet pre)

IMO that is not 100BBs... and felt like I was too short stacked to set mine.

But I think I was wrong.
Can you guys explain why I should set mine PROFITABLY here?

Wel first of all you already have 30 c in the pot, so it's only .75 to call not 1.05 .. I'm on my phone At work don't want to go thru too much math but You'll hit a set about 1 in 8 times, and likely get paid if you hit so I'm calling here

Thank. Appreciate your reply.

Is that 1/8 to hit a set on the flop?
Or the full board?
