Yatahay Network - $0.25 NL - Holdem - 7 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

BTN: 437.48 BB
SB: 98 BB
Hero (BB): 100.72 BB
UTG: 114.52 BB
UTG+1: 97.2 BB
MP: 100.96 BB
CO: 110.32 BB

SB posts SB 0.4 BB, Hero posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.4 BB) Hero has Q K

UTG calls 1 BB, fold, fold, fold, BTN raises to 3.6 BB, fold, Hero calls 2.6 BB, UTG calls 2.6 BB

Flop: (11.2 BB, 3 players) 9 A Q
Hero checks, UTG bets 11.2 BB, BTN raises to 28 BB

only downside is if I call and miss it will be awkward on turn.

Tricky spot. It is hard to range button here. AJ+ for value seems reasonable since ot is unlikely that you or UTG would have AK, AQ or better. So you and UTG are kind of capped at A9, 99. On the other hand, I think people respond to donks very differently. There are a lot of potential straight draws and some flush draws that button could iso pre and raise on the flop. UTG range can be full of nonsense and donk bets frequently fold to a raise. But multiway vs a pot sized donk, I don't know that button will raise hands like JT here. You block some of his bluffs. I think we have equity to call and call if UTG jams over the top. Hard to imagine that button will fold better if you jam, but if the fold some lower equity bluffs then jamming could be okay. At the end of the day, we have a pair + nutflush draw and we block thick value. But when someone pots and then someone raises half pot, we are getting a really bad price on cold 3bet semi-bluff jamming this flop.

I think I like 3betting pre to 4x even though it's a pretty big size. Being multiway OOP sucks even with the fish. And sometimes the fish will cold call and button will fold.

Well I can tell you he has 2 pair at a minimum here. I have 35%~ equity vs most of his hands - but not sure that is enough to get it in.

I mean if you absolutely know he has 2p+ you probably just fold, but I am not sure that is a good assumption. If there is a chance he can have other Ax and bluffs then continuing seems okay.

Ya he could have weaker flush draw or Q9 but it's more likely he has 99, AQ, A9

I can't see him raising a naked Ace

3b pre would of been good.

I guess I could just fold flop - but Pair + nut flush draw + back door straight draw is about as good as it gets.

On winning poker network - these guys on heaters just continually seem to always have it. Very often you will see someone with a 400+ BB stack just continually getting smashed with the deck on this site. I've been on one of those heaters and it's quite often a 100 hand 6 buy in upswing. That could play into just folding as well as crazy at it sounds.
