villain is 49/46 after 100hands. 3betting should be better because I can isolate him but if he 4bets it will not be great spot...

SB: $1.73 (86.5 bb)
BB: $0.80 (40 bb)
MP: $2 (100 bb)
CO: $1.59 (79.5 bb)
: $2.15 (107.5 bb)
BTN: $1.32 (66 bb)

Preflop: Hero is MP2 with Q

2 folds, MP1 raises to $0.06 Hero ?

What are his fold to 3bet and fold to cbet stats? Also, I think this question would be better suited for Beginner's Questions. Without any further information, I'm leaning towards 3betting with a view to either shoving over a 4bet or folding depending on his FTB. It would help if you had left the hand as it originally was, as I can't tell what his and your stack sizes are. Also, what are the stats of the BTN and blinds?

Its a 3bet for value against this player, but then again so could A5 be as well without knowing more.

It's not rare that someone with such a wide opening range has 90+ FT3B, and you go behind his calling range in that case, which would be a case for flatting IMO.
