In a bet of this nature, I'd agree that once both parties have agreed the terms, then they are both bound to them even before they escrow any monies. Otherwise, the person that escrows first is being freerolled.
If Alec agreed to the terms - as he appeared to do ITT - then yes, he should lose by default if he's unwilling to escrow, and will essentially owe Viffer 50k.
My point was just that ITT it was Viffer and not Alec that proposed this bet in the first place. This is obviously irrelevant to the status of the bet. I just thought it was important to note that Alec was not employing the transparent 50k-prop-bet-or-won't-say-anything tactic in this thread as a means to avoid difficult questions.
