I take it you're not x/raising it either? Or bet/folding/calling

Why did u CB so small on the flop. Do u always make such small CBs in squeezed pots? Not criticising, just wanna know, so I post my answer.

I like cbetting small in general, and it was half SB's stack, enabling me to reshove if he should shove.

It might be a little small, but I couldn't see BTN calling with AQ pr whatever anyway, so I figured i was WA/WB.

Had BTN raised flop, I guess I woulda put him on 77 or 88 and called.

flop bet looks scared...kind of like "oh sh*t i got called by 2 people with a mid pair and the pot is largely inflated now...hoping 2 overcard hands and i take it down quickly"

gotta bet more brah. leverage the flop to show you're 100% shoving turn and put them at a decision now, also eliminate any chance they have to bluff utilizing fold equity with a flop c-rai or a float (which doesnt really apply on this board)

i would've bet more on the flop so you can shove the turn. as played, i don't like any of my options.

If i played like you, i would c/c the turn and c/f the river.
On the river you can beat nothing if villian keep on firing.

call preflop. as played fold the turn. you're hoping villain has a7s. i don't think he floats the flop even if the bet is small since you said the fish has a tendency to shove when his stack is small.

I'd agree if we had followed a standard sized betting OTF, but as it is, we look extremely weak. I expect him to be betting here with worse a lot. When we bet so small OTF, he can basically float his entire range. I don't think C/decide is terrible as played (but I don't think I'd be in this spot often).

I don't agree that we beat nothing. There are lots of bluffs/merges/floats/pairs-turned-into-bluffs he can have if he shoves river. Granted, it's a tough spot regardless.

def call turn as he could have 77-88 easily and it's impossible to fold turn for you as played, also cbet at least halfpot, you vbetting fish cmon. I expect that he could also have like TT-JJ but you will see showdown pretty cheap with them imo

what range do you give BTN here? KQ KJ T8?

if we c/c Turn we have to c/c any river

and against the Kx range x/raising Turn > x/calling tho

As played I would check fold now. Villain looks like a semi bad player and I don't think he floats here with air with small stack donk who likes to shove still to act. He could easily have a bigger ovepair here given how passive he is. I also am not sure if he even bets turn here with draws (77, 88, 75 etc.) and I think his bet is leaned towards value (TT, JJ, QQ even?).
