It could be worse...

My friend had jaw surgery two days ago. He was having panic attacks for the first 24 hours because he couldn't breathe through his nose because the surgery interfered with his sinuses and his mouth was wired shut. He has a tube running down his nose to prevent him from vomiting into his sealed mouth, and he has to breathe through a small tube. His mouth will be wired shut for a mouth.

^^ I had a similar thing but the tube was only necessary the first hour or two after surgery. It sucked though b/c I could barely stand, the nurse had to hold a thing for me to pee in, the combination of her presence and the meds made it very hard for me to pee, and waiting there with my member exposed was made much worse b/c every time I stood my nose started GUSHING blood.

So yeah, it sucks but you'll be fine. liquid vic is pretty cool too. ALWAYS push for more meds, don't be embarrassed, they certainly won't be. you never know when they'll come in handy. imo.

Awww, thank you to everyone! Tonsils are gone and I am safe and well. Finally awake, up and about, etc. This thread is like a big bear hug from my poker friends/peanut gallery! As such, I thought I'd share my popsicles with everyone!
