Official Sports Discussion Thread - Page 257 - Micro Stakes Pot Limit and No Limit

Yahoo! College Bowl Pick 'Em

Fee: $50 or $100. The main pool will be for $50/person. There will be a side pool for anyone wishing to play for an extra $50.

Rules: It is a weighted (confidence) pool straight up, no spreads. There are 34 bowl games, for each one you pick the winner and assign a weight ranging from 1-34 to that pick based on your confidence in it's outcome. Highest total points after the championship game is the winner. Tiebreaker is based on total score in the title game.

Prizes: Payout will be same as HSNL format, winner take all with 15 or less entrants. 16 or more will be 75/25 to 1st and 2nd place.

Escrow info: I'm reluctantly volunteering since no one has stepped forward. I've never escrowed but have bet regularly in here and randomly in HSNL for over 2 years. Also completed >20k worth of trades and have references if needed.

First bowl game is Saturday at 4:30 EST so be sure to get your picks in by then. The more participants we can get the better imo so feel free to cross post this.

There's a few others interested that will likely join. A couple of my non-2p2 friends would like to join but idk how you guys feel about that. The more the merrier imo.

Side note: If you can't get action on a game I'll book it for up to 100 so long as if you win you use 50 of it to join the pool. Lose and you don't have to join. /bribe

Is it too late to make a motion for the bowl contest to be vs. the spread? I'm guessing it is, but I think if its straight up everyone's gonna have the same picks for alot of the games. But TY for stepping up to run it regardless!

Zima thats fine if you "stake" your brother i got 3 sisters in Zimbabwe that are Pick'em sharks, is it ok if they join? Also they only have zimbabwe dollars and the zimbabwe dollar is on the decline so i will send 18 loafs of bread and 3 dozen ears of corn!
