Yes, I forgot you are a stars only player. This option likely wont find much to purge from your DB, especially after you do the main purge.

When I went to the Purge HH options, I made sure it wouldn't delete any hand histories with my username involved, and even when I did that, it still asked me if I wanted to purge ~890k hands. This still seems like 90% of my current database and wasn't sure if I had it right or not. Purging isn't actually deleting it, it's basically deleting the details of the HH's.
The Options > Purge Hands will delete the actual hand history. It will still have all the data for the HUD but you wont be able to review the hands (if you werent involved in it). Your hands will all be preserved in their entirety so you can still replay them or export them, etc.
If you wanted, you could export your current DB to text files before you purge it, and 7zip the exported hands for an archive. Then you could purge the DB, and export them again. You will get the same number of files, but the second export should be smaller in size.
If you want some help doing all this just let me know.

So basically, you think I should start with the purging of hand histories, and THEN begin the cycle of Vacuuming, Analyzing, etc, the database I've been building on?
You should start with turning off logging and deleting every file in your \data\pg_log folder. I wouldnt be surprised if you had 25gb+ of log files in a DB that big.
You could save the purging for later. I would probably do the vacuum, reindex, and defrag after deleting so many log files. Make sure you stop the postgresql service before you defrag. Send me a PM or email if you want me to help you thru any of it.
Purge the hands in a couple weeks or months, when you do the DB maintenance again.
