Vs the few players in your pool that actually have a functional fold button vs 3bets - let's say 70%+ how do you contruct your bluffing range? 22-66? Axo / Kxo vs those 85%+? let's say hero is IP BTN vs CO, BTN vs MP.. CO vs MP..

I have been 3betting fairly wide vs the 80%+ with junk like A2o ...

@ the 10% posts, at least we know the best part of our range is doing quite well, eh?

@ Claret, I wouldn't include hands like A2o from the BTN. You want to have hands that function well post flop, when called. In addition to the top 8%, SC's, gappers, suited Ax, Kx, hands, etc. You can do it quite liberally vs. CO, obviously decrease your frequency of BS against a UTG or MP open.

Getting shorted on the AA distribution and 77 is doing great.

What is it today with people taking ages to make their decisions... constantly time banking down fml... guess those rakeback pros gotta get volume in eh?

Do you guys get them sessions where almost every flop you get donked into or raised when you have air? then when you actually got something with some sort of equity the rec sucks out on you with rags lol jeeeez

Yes, happened in my session last night. I got owned by a whale in 100nl that donked everything every time for pot without fail. But he literally had a hand every time too, it was brutal. Only against me though. Anytime im in a pot w him he's got it, when he plays a pot against the other regs he gives them all my money. I finally got AK top pair and tried to go thin on the river and he XR w a runner runner flush and i had to call it off. Tricky whale. I said surely he cant have another flush here...

Soooo frustrating isn't it?! Either that or they missclick fold when we have AA lol..

I feel your pain though having the whale in godmode vs you then seeing your $ getting donated to other regs

Donk bets are the most tilting thing ever. On the flip side, when they don't donk, you can attack them with a wide range.

For the last month and half, I had tried to shot take 25nl on a very short roll.

Ran bad, and had to deposit 2x

Finally came to accept that I am not one of those players that can work with a short roll. All the props in the world if you can, but for me, I couldn't help but take every loss personal.

I never understood how a hand could be played without a SB. Arbitrarily changes the game dynamic for 1 hand.

Playing well, running well, first time going 4 tables of 100nl at a time, then in a matter of seconds run kings into aces in a 3 way 450bb pot and lose a boat over boat hand against aces again for another 400bb and the hours we spent grinding are all for naught. Gonna have to go back and toil at 50nl again i guess. Very disappointing.

When the deal is more than 200k play that twice in 24 hrs. Usually just exchange to cash. It doesn't really matter because the value is same with everything. If you enjoy dumping money to slots then do that. If you like money get cash. If you hate life get mtt tickets.

I"m sure it varies by region, but in Michigan, I just convert them to cash via the store. I know a couple of my friends turn them into casino bonuses and buy the bonus features on certain slots.

I said F it and went balls deep in 100nl again. Played pretty well, did make a few smallish errors. Won a couple massive pots including a 370bb pot 3way w JJ flopping a set and turning quads. Happy to have got it all back and then some.

I stumbled on an old ARTICLE quoting Dnegs about using VPNs. I was surprised. Is this a thing? I thought their use was extremely taboo but I got to thinking, do they care if someone is using a vpn to play for parking change? I can understand depositing some cheese, running it up - maybe winning a satellite and taking down a milly and that being a problem or having winnings confiscated maybe, but meh if we have a choice to play on ACR - or IGN (which isn't bad - but my only options in MN) but if PS and GG is infinitely better and the player pools are vaster and deeper, then what difference does it make if they are going to look the other way at the micros? I am guessing vpn's can really slow down the action and increase time-outs, but I thought it was interesting and got me thinking about it... like is using a vpn as crazy as doing THIS?

Bonition is still considered the softest of the major sites from what I understand. In fact, Bonition has ongoing problems with European regs using a VPN to get in these soft games. And many these guys already have access to Stars and GG.

A major problem with getting caught using a VPN on Stars or GG is that you could lose the ability to play on their sites if online poker legislation ever hits your state. It just doesn't seem worth it.

The only US players that I hear of traveling to play on ROW sites are high stakes crushers who want to play 5000nl+ on GG because 2000nl on Bonition has gotten too easy for them and they want to make even more money. But GG rake is obscene at the micros. There are lots of fish of course, but pre-flop rake is devastating.

Been wondering why people think this is true? They don't rake preflop they rake 3bets preflop flop or not. And the rake is high because of pvi bbjp etc fees that ads up. I think the base rake is similar to others sites.

He's saying he doesn't have an issue with players using VPN. That does not mean that the poker sites are ok with it lol.
