Pretty good. 15bb/100 over 12k hands now, but I think I'm about to take a dealer class

Playing super nitty with the 19/13/5
19/13/5 will work for the time being, but I would reccomend investing in some solid pf ranges to get better stats, this is just way too nitty

Not sure. At those stakes you often have 2 or even 3 loose passive players at the table, and they won't fold top pair, ever. If you try to apply a "standard" pf range you'll be in trouble because you don't have much fold equity, preflop or postflop. Most "standard" ranges will propose to open 9Ts from UTG for example : I think it's burning money at NL5.

Yeah I agree with boulgakov. I think you can go pretty nitty from early and gto from co/btn. It makes you look like a nitty player but who cares. Well 2+2 cares but who cares about that?

Loose passive players who don't fold postflop are not a reason to play more nitty. I agree that it will struggle at higher stakes, but if your postflop game is solid those last 5% of preflop hands you're missing probably won't add much to your winrate, and 5NL players probably don't adjust much.

This was a video I watched a while back where Uri talks about the reasoning to open wider or tighter depending on the player pool.

The idea is that if players are doing more cold calling/less 3-betting, then we should be opening wider.

1) it’s wrong that you can’t bluff fish
2) if they’re calling you preflop all the time with junk, that should make you want to open wider, not tighter

If you put a good 1knl player in 5nl, they’d probably have 35+ VPIP and would beat it for 20bb/100+

The good thing about bluffing fish is it doesn't take long to find out which ones you really can't bluff. Which in turn means you find out really quickly which ones you should vb thinly.

yep - it's slightly unintuitive but playing lots of hands against weaker players just prints. Opening T9s UTG you might not get a lot of folds, but you often go MW post with lots of fish.

Anyway - this playstyle will work at 5nl, but as you move up you should focus on improving your preflop as the #1 thing.

yeah there's like 5-10% of fish that are almost literally unbluffable, but you find out pretty quick lol

The problem with unbluffable fish is that they are usually only around for like 50-100 hands because that's how long it takes them to lose their roll.

Well done.

Are you rolled for 50? If so then I wouldn't bother with reaching a certain amount of hands..

Either way, I'm please you are doing well and hope you crush @ 10NL

No, I currently have 380 € on the site. It's hobby money at the moment and I could deposit, but I want to beat 50k hands at each level before moving up. I know 10NL probably plays exactly the same as 5NL, but I'm in no particular hurry.
My current game is very tight: 21/16 with a very low 3-bet at 6. It's working well against 5NL stations, but it will require significant changes when I move up.

Dude's a beast. Still surprises me though how good players just totally freeze up against him despite knowing how often he makes moves like this.

What I thought was going to be the series finale of Attack on Titan aired today. Nope, turns out there's going to be a Part 3 of the final season.
