Since making that thread about dropping 10 buyins at 25nl, and not wanting to lose rakeback by going back to 10nl, I decided to 5 table 10nl blitz this week.

13k hands so far at 8.52bb/100

VPIP 21.52 PFR 16.41 3bet 5.84 call 3bet 39.95 wtsd% 28.59 w$sd 52.53

I know that vpip pfr gap looks big, but some of these guys are 4betting a lot, and even though that makes their 4bet range wide, I'd rather just play ip against them with some hands, rather than 5bet shove or fold.

My 3bet looks low too, but I don't know if it's just the sample size, I feel like I'm 3betting a ton from the sb

I've punted off too, not in a 4bet shove pocket 2s kinda way, but losing focus sometimes and calling a 3bet when I just assumed it was a standard sized 3bet, but when I look back at the table I see they've 3bet a silly amount. The player pool is weird, it's almost like diff villian types play diff shifts.

Nice job on the Winrate but 13k hands is less than nothing.

That's true, I'm trying to get more in but I gotta chill after about an hr of 5 tabling this, so it's a bunch of 1 hr sessions throughout the day

I use pt4 but from what I've heard pt4 and hem3 are mostly interchangeable, so I'd stick with hem if that what you're familiar with. I've seen videos where people do database analysis in Hand2Note and it's pretty impressive. It can definitely break down and filter hands in ways that the others can't. It's more expensive and I've heard it can be intimidating to use but it's at least worth considering.

I moved from HEM to PT4 18months or so ago and haven't looked back.

I've downloaded hand2note too and have been setting up a decent HUD. I'm undecided which I'll use full-time as both have great features, but PT4 works great for me..

I need to get to grips with GTO+ too and stop being lazy with studying.. Having finally gotten used to gtowizard which is amazing BTW, I've discovered a new found motivation to work on my game with GTO+

Never messed around with Jurojin. What do you find most helping by using it, and is it really all free?

It's pretty much become a necessity on Bovada which is super outdated in a lot of the comfort features that are offered on other sites. Things like auto top up, and multiple sizes pre and post.

It also has a nice built in RNG that you can set to roll automatically on your turn.

Ah OK, makes sense. I play on Pokerstars and only 3-4 table and have no issues really that I could think of needing it. Was just curious that maybe I was missing something.

The features for Stars include

Tiling options so when you open your 3-4 tables, they will always open in the same spot on the screen.

Auto Timebank

Avoid Sitting Out

what are you using the rng for? Postflop/preflop and how much?

if you have to ask you probably shouldn't be using rng. I personally stopped using it and I honestly think it improved my game tremendously, from all the people I've sweated who love rnging decisions I think it's just not a good idea to use it at the micro/small stakes.

I use it on Stars for the auto time bank. Definitely comes in handy.

I didn't know about Quordle or Nerdle. Nerdle seems kinda boring to me but Quordle is more fun and challenging than Wordle IMO. Wordle and Nerdle don't feel like you could ever reasonably lose but maybe I haven't played enough of them.

I got (3), (7, 5, 3, 6), (3) for today's W, Q, N respectively.

My strategy for Quordle has been to use two words with independent letters, including all 5 vowels and some of the most common consonants. Often this is enough to guess at least one of the words outright on the 3rd.

There are some words which can screw you in wordle, but otherwise it's easy. Hard mode forces you to use guesses you've already gotten. Spill was a word not too long ago, and I had S_ILL. Skill, swill, still, shill and skill were all valid guesses and it was dumb luck. Without hard mode you could just find a word that uses multiple of those possible missing letters. But at that point there's really no... skill... to the game.

Hard mode is the bad kind of hard. It just reduces the skill element to the game. I don't and won't use it. I prefer to challenge myself by shooting for 3-4 guesses.

When you have 2 attempts left, it's way more skillful to recognize that shill and swill are unlikely to be the answer because the game seems to only choose extremely basic words that almost everybody including children will know, then pick a word that guarantees you'll get it in 2 guesses, like kaput.

I guess there could be some strategy in planning ahead to avoid traps where you only have RNG guesses, but that seems like an unfun way to play by encouraging you to sometimes avoid getting certain letters correct.

All free, but it's in "open beta" rn. I mostly use it for the quick bet sizes. auto-timebank is nice but not a huge deal

has anyone ever looked at the code and see if it is data mining or anything?

my spider-sense is going all over the place, it's way too professionally done with quick updates to be a hobbyist project - seems weird they don't even charge a very nominal amount like $5

when they first launched they said they'd add pro features later but it doesn't seem as if they ever did and that was several years ago

i worked in tech for some of the most successful freemium business models out there so i'm pretty familiar with the monetization tactics and strategies at play and when i can't see how they are making money alarm bells go off because it's usually not disclosed for a good reason
