I always expect to lose when I'm all in as a favorite. I'm more surprised when I win.

I have found it frustrating that the online NLHE fora didn't have LC threads. I'm in.

Instagram thirst traps are no substitute for real porn.

Hopefully it gains traction. Seems like this forum is devoid of personality unless it's discussing poker hands.

It is not but I think subconsciously I was using IG as my way of getting porn since I stopped watching porn altogether a few months ago. Happy to say I haven't opened the app at all since my declaration itt.

Haven't played at all this month time to get back on the horse. I always feel like I'm learning the game all over again if I take more than 1 day off.

I totally agree, a day or two goes by where I don't play and I start the next session with some dumb ass plays like it's my first session ever. Got to stop that.

It's not really intuitive

As far as the solver - I'm assuming it is taking an aggregate of an UTG range but not sure exactly.
Yeh if your playing in games where villains might be limping trash like 95o I'd just ignore this and default back to "good hand raise!"

Anyone have any Vegas restaurant recommendations? I'm going soon with a group of friends and we're looking for a Saturday lunch spot on/near the strip with <$30 entrees

We're going to be there during both the main event and the Day n Vegas festival, so I expect the crowds to be insane. So ideally somewhere that takes reservations as well.

Sadelle's in Bellagio is a lunch place I like. They do take reservations and you should be able to get something in that price range.

Yeah man, lately I've been easing back into it after a break. I'll play for only an hour or play lower stakes for a couple hundred hands just to get the muscle memory back.

Poker is still alive and well. Not sure if any of you are watching the Main Event, but if not some dude just lost his 130BB stack with A6o on Q746K

I wonder why this has happened? I guess poker has gotten tough enough that everyone is super serious nowadays. 2p2 used to be filled with all sorts of random chatter with plenty of hilarious degeneracy. I think people have gotten somewhat afraid of posting about such things now that social media is considered real life. Posting on 2p2 used to feel fairly anonymous. Today, we have to worry about being "canceled". Or even worse, maybe our moms find this place and see what we write!

Yeh the low stakes LC and BBV thread used to be nuts. Like we used to have Linus posting regularly on his way up and I can think of at least 5 others that are now playing mid - high stakes

Used to be loads of strat talk but it was mixed in with plenty of trash talk and just general good banter

I'm not sure either. Even the old posters that went from micros to high stakes just up and disappeared from posting also. I remember back in the day this sub had monthly LC threads with Linus and other studs of the world. You could sense the camaraderie. Good thing is I think this thread is trending in the right direction.

@newguyhere lol never fails

I think a big part of the answer for why twoplustwo in particular feels like it's no fun is because no one my age (23) is familiar with forums in general, it's all reddit and discord. Young people are the people doing all the degen **** mostly

I have a lot of IRL friends who are relatively into poker (some got a HUD set up on ignition to play 5nl, watched a lot of doug polk videos when he was big, like watching wsop stuff), but none of them could get into 2p2 because we're from a pre-forum internet age. Lot of them doing some idiotic degen **** too, they're just posting about it on insta
