I've seen a lot of 3.5x - 4x lately in my pool too..

Is it a mistake to cap our 3bets to say 11bb vs 4x?

Yeah probably. Probably should just press the pot button IP, then press pot and add a couple BB OOP

Pretty common in Stars international zoom pools to see bigger than 3x IP sizings.
Anywhere from 3.5x-6x from various regs.
I always want to look into how much range responses change when sizings go up to 5x+, but it doesn’t happen.
Pretty sure the main adjustment is just a bit tighter range and 4b more/call less.

I would like to officially announce my retirement from poker as I have decided to become a professional slots player.

Redeemed $600 in bonus $ and decided to blast off at $50 a spin. Hit the free spins and got the 250x for $12,500.

Still had to clear the bonus, so placed a bet on the NBA all star game, and then played some more slots at $100 a spin.

Cleared the bonus pretty quickly. Net profit a little over $9k

Yeah, if you go to the Bonus section of the Rewards area, it'll tell you how much more you need to play in order to clear it.

From my understanding the requirements are a lot more strict on a deposit bonus vs when you redeem a cash bonus.

I remember when I made my last deposit I got a bonus with it, and it said I would have to play something absurd like $16k in casino games in order to clear the bonus.

This one, I only had to clear $5k.

The rollover isn’t quite as bad if you do casino gambling instead

New season of HSP drops today on PokerGo.

I know there's a thread over in NVG, but for those of us that don't frequent that section very often, I figure we can talk about any cool hands here.

spoiler tags of course.
solid first ep. Ivey looks and plays like a shell of his former self. Was cool to see the old school pros use some river OBs. Cool bluff by dnegs.
Spoiler:
Agree on Ivey, but I thought the episode was overall pretty boring.

I also found it interesting that everyone bought in for 100k. Usually you have a few players that buy in for a lot more.

I enjoyed the episode overall, despite it not being particularly great or anything. I didn't watch last season, so that was my first full exposure to the revival (I only saw the big DPvsPH hand from last season). Reminded me a bit of the old series with all the familiar faces, which was cool. I did feel though that they might benefit from having more of a technical analyst in the booth like they've been doing with the WSOP broadcasts in recent years. Gabe is of course great as a color commentator, but hearing him try to dissect the hands was a bit rough at times

Last season was pretty great. I'd definitely recommend binging it at some point.

There seems to be some sort of conspiracy among the recs in the 50 Zone pool to donk shove with a merged, bluff-filled range any time a scare card appears on the turn or river. This often happens after they take otherwise loose-passive actions like limping pre or donking small on the flop. This has been really throwing me off in the past week and a half since these had typically been such easy hero fold spots.

Also, thanks to those of you who contributed to the Soariation thread debate/drama yesterday. That was super entertaining and reminded me of the olds days of twoplustwo.

Not sure, but the subscription is worth it just to watch last season.

If you get the 3 month plan it should take you right to the end of this season.

In addition you get all sorts of other content. Including the upcoming US Poker Open which starts March 17th.

Also, if they schedule the 3rd match between Tom and Phil, you'll get to watch that as well.

I watched half of last season.. I don't think its as good as back in the day unfortunately.. I remember getting back from work on night shift and I'd sit and watch HSP before bed..

No other show compares though
