Cool, I will check it out... also need to check out his vid on solvers and trainers. His tilt and mindset vid was excellent imo. One point that he made that I thought was interesting was that most successful high stakes players come from wealthy backgrounds. Since they have never had to worry about money, they tend to be a lot less emotional about swings. That was definitely my experience when I played high stakes LHE... lots of rich kids who never had any reason to get upset about money.

I've been playing regular tables though, so I won't be in the vid unless it was recorded over a week ago.

What are some good stats to look at to know if you are being aggressive enough on the river, and are there particular numbers to shoot for, e.g. River Agg should be X

Another thing that tilts me... that LHE live pro who always tanks forever on the river with his crappy showdown value. And then he... calls... every... ****ing... time. Everyone at the table knows what he is going to do except for him.

Shotted 100nl tonight and 4/4 of my 4b were met with a jam, including 3x UTG vs. HJ/CO and a cold 4b BB vs. HJ vs. BTN. Probably variance but in 27k hands at 50nl I don't remember seeing 4 of my 4b get jammed on in a row. Can't wait till tomorrow to see what I'm up against.

Everyone's WR goes down with overtankers at the table. Games break quickly, fish lose interest rapidly. Even with low TBs. It's an absolute disaster

Regs need to take responsibility here imo. And you wonder why Stars now limit table #

I think that bluff jamming a5s is pretty suicidal there, but ya... I have definitely noticed some regs who just take the most aggressive action in mixed solver spots every time. I guess he could have rolled for it, but still... that's not going to work well imo.

I would think bomb pots wouldn't have an effect on EV? They are just a sub game? I suppose if you are less skilled at playing bomb pots than your opponent then yes, but unless bomb pots come with some insane rake or something I would just assume they are fine.

Sweet. My best was a year or so ago. I had $50 in bonus funds so I let it ride and hit a 250x for $12,500

Unfortunately I was degenning hard back then and blew through it pretty quickly.

That's a nice hit. I exploit the **** out of slots. I basically only play my bonus money (on this site I play on it separates bonus money from deposit bonus). I'll deposit $100 and then get a $100 bonus. Play the $100 bonus and then if I lose I'll just deposit another $100 since the deposit bonus is infinite.

The 40x roll over makes it so you normally don't get out of the roll over with the bonus money but it's just a free roll basically so it's not a big deal.

I hit $800 last night doing this.

My March:

The 50 Zone games weren't functioning for a few days, so I played some 25 Zone before deciding to give the regular tables a try again. There have been some growing pains for sure, but I am actually having fun so far. The regs seem a little bit better than the spaced out, auto-piloting Zone regs, but the fish are just so much fishier at the regular tables that it is worth it. I have major runbad stats at 100nl so far, but it doesn't seem too much harder than the 50nl games to me. Good luck in April everyone!

Thanks. I was actually looking at my overall graph, and despite those last few months I'm actually winning at 6.4 EV bb/100 over 76k hands.

I think it's really important as someone else pointed out to not get too hung up on the really short term results.

This goes for good results as well. So even though I had a nice month, I can't get complacent and let it get to my head.
