meh it's not good news, but i don't think it really is a harbinger of doom. i think merge is just realizing that they don't need to offer the rakeback or they are preparing for some kind of stars type vip program.

Thanks for the information. I still think the best withdrawal method is Use My Wallet. It's very quick apparently and only costs $15 more than the checks (which takes about a month). I'm generally impatient about cash outs so I guess time is valuable to me. Other than that - checks are good.

I just did the same thing, but at 10NL FR - 7k hands into my 100k stake (though I'll move up soonish).

I'm curious what your staking terms are - care to share or pm them?

Yall weren't lying about merge 50nl being softer than 25nl... At least from the small shots I've been taking -- only about 4k hands at 50nl but I've been raking it in nicely there. I think NLplayer said before you were nitting it up and just collecting from the spewtards and its true.. For some reason there absolutely appears to be a much greater ratio of bad:decent:good players going from 25 to 50

The transition has been really minimal - 10NL 6max regs by and large are still a lot less sophisticated than 100NL FR regs. I had a lot of experience playing various types of SH on FR tables too; unlimited hold them is unlimited hold them, you look for the same patterns and ways to beat ppl. I switched because I've found merge software to be uncooperative when stacking tables so now I'm tiling. If I try to tile more than 6 FR tables on my 25'' the hud stats get too smooshed. I can tile 9-12 6max tables fairly comfortably.

I took a somewhat crappy staking deal since I was anxious to get started playing on merge and I really did not want to deposit. It's 50/50 including rakeback for 50k hands minimum.

Can someone explain in English how the VIP stuff works? Does your status reset each month, are do you continue grind up the ladder to the exalted Ether status? At the bottom of Earth, it says just 250pts to qualify each month. That's for the freeroll only, I presume? Also, took me hours to figure out how the money tree works.

Also, the deposit bonus is nearly impossible. I would have to play more hands in 3 months than I have lifetime to get it. Ugh.

the points in the previous month determine status in present month. deposit bonus is weird - i only released 10 dollars so far and i'm pretty sure i should have more.

Man I was just looking at some #'s, between rb, rake race, cash exchange, money tree, if you rake around 2k a month (roughly 50-60k hands at 50nl) you get back like 1200+. That's pretty sick.

Merge using RPM skin...heard there support was good... And didn't see a WU deposit option.
