What issues do you guys get with Merge? I never have any trouble.

yeah i don't either

the soft is freezing and doesn't want to cooperate with me. when it does that i have to close it from task manager. it freezes when he wants, where wants, especially if i close a table he gets insta mad and freezes

i will have my cards dealt in the hole at times and they will disapear...anyone ever had this happen?

It would become super laggy and freeze up at times. Not enough to shut down, but enough to annoy. Sets and AA's seemed to trigger it lol

Happens to me too. Never when I'm running bad ofc. Conveniently it happens when I got an hour in and I'm on my A game. My laptop isn't the fastest in the world so I think it might be hardware issue for me.

Is there a big difference between the skill level of NL25 and NL50 on Merge? Are there similar amounts of fish that join the tables? Thinking about making the jump, but not sure

25nl games have been so soft lately, not sure about the 50nl games.

Before I change stakes I like to do calculations to determine if I would be better off remaining where I am or moving up.

for example say I am playing 25NL with a 6bb/100 winrate getting 500 hands/hour. This would come out with me earning 7.5/hr pre rakeback and such.

Now if I were to move up to 50nl I will have to do better than 7.5/hr so assuming the same hands/hr this would mean I need a 3bb/100 winrate at 50nl (excluding rakeback which is better at higher stakes). Now in order to determine my expected winrate at higher stakes I take a look at the tables using tablescan turbo and compute the reg:fish ratio at each stake. Provided the ratio isn't significantly worse (more regs) I can assume that my winrate should not drop too much. Secondly I like to look at who the regs are at each stake. How much b etter is the average reg now compared to before? These guys will eat at your winrate so again you have top assume you winrate will be even lower than before. Lastly you have to consider variance. If you are a 6bb winner at one stake and a 2bb winner at another with the same standard deviation in bb/100 your variance will "feel" higher since you are swinging between winninng session and losing session rather than big winning session and small winning session.

Are you guys with the Merge issue adding the exe, your tracker exe, postgres and pg_ctl, along with any mouse software, and anything you might be running at the same time to your firewall and antivirus exceptions list?

Also, update windows completely, and update your graphics driver. Windows will say it's the latest.

Please make sure your graphics card driver is updated.
Right click My Computer, click properties, open Device Manager
Open Display Adapter
Google search for "your model # driver" and download for your operating system.

You should also prob turn animations off on merge and you can lower the quality if you have to. I've never had any issues.
