How much time do you spend actually writing in a players note field specific plays/strategies you see from another player?
I don't do nearly enough and I have a tendency to play until I'm too tired to see so I rarely spend more time afterwards making notes on my opponents. Its obviously more difficult to make these notes while multi-tabling but I will if I see something I consider truly valuable.
When I played at FT, I took far more notes. I played higher stakes but I don't think that is why I was more involved in note taking. It might be that I still think of Merge as "play money", or something I'm doing while I wait for the US to get back into the market full force.
Anyways, just curious. The most notes I have on any one player is only 20 items long and i was thinking that is excessive but maybe its nowhere near enough.
Ever hear of note caddie? I have almost 2k hands on villian.
It takes very specific notes: (PF)-pre flop (F) flop (R) river. If you add manual notes to a hand villian played out of context for a reg (M) would be infront.
