Just curious if anyone else noticed a significant increase in new or at least players who don't play that much all sitting 10nl fr last night around 10:00 PST? Every table I sat at had at least 3 or 4 guys I had less than 50 hands history on and many were brand new. They were playing hyper, with a common line being 80/30/10.

Never saw so many all at once. I got lucky and except for playing a hand as badly as it can be played and stacking off (I actually tried to bluff with air only to get shown a set in a spot where the villain couldn't have anything that I could beat and at nl10, there are few hero laydowns as you all know,) ended up in good shape.

It could be that I had been playing NL4 for awhile, working on a few things and these guys have been playing 10 only, but they were playing very similar and it was like sitting at a live table with 8 other guys who were all part of the same bachelor party. There was a lot of moving in pre with 100bb's from UTG or doing the same on the river with a flop that had not been bet at once.

Maybe I just got lucky and ended up on those tables but there were some of the regs there too (WinlLoseChop was at all of my games for awhile).

been playing 100nl the last 3 days. 3 buyins up or down is such a big difference then 25nl lol. Anyways trying to bink the BBJ. Up about 4 buyins in 6000 hands.

Nice work. Everytime I take a shot I get piledriven into the mud. There are definately a bunch of players who outplay me there, but I get stomped by the fish.

I've played 4400 hands since being staked at 100 for the bbj. Only down 37 dollars not counting RB. Way way plus ev though and I feel like I'm playing decent, just pussing out on some rivers where I could vbet thin. Going to bink it 2nite, I can feel it

I know where you are coming from. Yesterday was down 5 buyins at 1 point. At 25nl Im use to swinging from time to time and Im comfortable playin through it to get it back, at 100nl was alot different, Def. getting use to it. I hope I do bink it for the micro grinders.

Yea rakeback should be like 150 with that amount of hands in. Today I didnt play my normal game and bluff off buyin and a half. had like 87 suited.raise from early on flop came 846 one club. so I half bet the pot and the guy pops it to ten I reshove the whole stack tryin to rep an over pair, play it so bad he snaps 99 I lose. Yea I guess the more hands you play the more you will get use to value betting thin and the regs and what not. Good luck with the BBJ.

I would definately say the pot sizes is a huge adjustment at 100nl. Gonna take a while for me to get over a $240 pot. Variance is kicking my ass the past few days. Besides my quads hand Ive got aces in pre 5 times the past 3 days and lost all five. Binking around at 4nl for a while.

No, you don't even need to get your account verified to RECEIVE transfers as I recall.

I didn't see the influx you are talking about, but I do notice about every other week, usually on a Tuesday or Thursday night, a batch of new guys playing 60+ VPIP and very aggro at the 6max tables; then they disappear. Always strikes me as weird that they all show up at once and play similar styles. I am guessing there is some kind of promo that the sports book skins run that attracts them.

Post-Christmas the gameplay at the micros has become different. It might be just me but it seems like there are alot of new and inexperienced players that are pushing the games to be very much like live 1/2 games.

Lots of stations and spewers around recently. I've been toning down the aggression and getting more play with SC and 1 gappers and it's been working out well.

Oh and diversed owns my soul. He's easily #1 on my avoid list. Idk if he's a bot but if he was it sure wouldn't surprise me.

No he's not a bot. We have gone to battle 150 times to date at 25nl with him up less than $7. I have 80 wins to his 70 losses. He is just a standard tag so you have to adjust your play when you are going head to head. Also avoid stacking off light again him.

Your experience post holiday is typical. Newbies playing thinking live and online are same. Just pick your spots to stack them, but when they get lucky not much you can do about that.

I just lost a $1500 pot live. I have 88 in SB against 2/5 reg. Reggy dude opens for $25 MP/UTG. Have 140-150bb stacks. Button calls. I call. Flop is Kc, 8c, 5d. He bets $60. Button fish folds. I call. Turn is Ks. I lead 80-85% of pot. He calls. River is a Qd. I know the dude has no K8 or K5 in his range but have seen him open w/ KQ, K10s, QQ, AA, AK, 66+ so maybe he 5's in his range too. I shove into him, he snaps w/ KQ. FML.

Going to stick to online for a while. Guess I'm a online grinder went donko in the live game

I like your turn bet alot, onthe river if you know that your player is always gonna stack off with worst then 8's full then I like shove on river. If not I think check letting him value own himself with worst on river is a good option. Tough beat. Im in florida and 2 5 live is def soft. Most of the time I dont know the players so I woulda just played hand out like you did.

i dunno if rockstarchick posts here, but everytime i've played with her i've seen about the same thing...3b, 3b, 3b, ends up getting owned when she gets in a big pot.
