I looked at Cake last night and their software seems far superior. They don't allow HUDs but i never used one in rush poker anyway. I may give them a try.

I actually kind of like Cake's software now. Their traffic blows, but the software's ok. It's a ton better than it was this time last year, where I couldn't play without tilting off what little roll I had.

Just be sure to turn off the "I won a pot!" sound. I really don't need people clapping and cheering every friggin' time.

it's hard to multi-table w/o HUDs. rush is different since you only have to look at 1 -4 tables (and can get 4x hands). plus, you can change your sn on cake/every week so your going to have to do that a lot to not be at a disadvantage. cake cashouts are supposedly the worst.

you can try it out, but i've heard some really crappy things about it

i was thinking about cake as i fell asleep last night (the food too obv) and man i don't see why they haven't lifted the hud ban/name change stuff. this is their opportunity to get a lot of traffic but very few regs are gonna choose a HUDless site over a Merge skin.

I've gotten conflicting information on whether or not p2p transfers are allowed on merge. Can anybody verify if they have been able to do a p2p transfer on there?

Where is the option for that? Another 2+2er told me they're allowed as well but I wasn't able to see how to do it.

I'm on PlayersOnly and I don't see an option in the cashier and when I asked support in live chat they said p2p transfer is not allowed.

maybe i have it and others don't...but if I open up my RPM cashier (which brings up the website)...there is a "transfer" tab that i can use to ship dollars

So for those who want to transfer: open client -> click "Cashier" -> on the top rightish of the page there's a "Transfer" tab.

The deposit bonus's on merge look juicy (RPMSeth was awesome and hooked me up with a 1k first deposit bonus), but after putting in some hands it seems like its going to be very difficult if not impossible to clear at NL50. So far I've played 2200 hands at 50 and have cleared 312 VIP of 75000 to clear the bonus. Anyone know if the double vip promotion for Monday/Thursday count towards the bonus, or is it only base vip similar to what stars/ft do?

It sucks that Cake Poker has no HUDs and players can change names, but the games are incredibly easy. Also, if you take notes on players, changing names shouldn't be an issue.

I'd still rather have my HUD. I'll probably switch over to Merge once my deposit bonus clears.
